Uncle Buck
So, I was reminded of a scene in the great outdoors (great movie btw) where John Candy was to eat the old 96er due to a post about wearing a plastic bib while out to eat. I swear that the scene with the old 96er had him wearing a bib. I looked it up and watched the scene and I was wrong. Does anyone (that’s you know my age lol) remember him wearing a plastic bib? Or am I just loosing my mind.
Edit: I meant great outdoors not uncle buck.

Chic-Fil-A
I always remembered it as Chic-Fil-A. My friends and I would joke that it was "tres chic" (as in french for "very fashionable"). NOW it is Chick-Fil-A. This undermines the whole thing and I feel like reality is shifting.

A Led Zeppelin song that no longer exists?
This will be a bit difficult to convey, as I only have a faint memory of what this song is like, and I couldn't even begin to tell you the name of it, but I know it existed at one point. I'll do my best to describe it.
From what I can remember about it, it sounded like it was possibly from its first album, though it could have easily been later, but it was a very highly experimental track, and I have a sense of what its riff/melody was, but it felt more, as I said, experimental, like it was there, but it didn't have a traditional structure to it. I would describe it as sounding somewhere in between Ramble On and Whole Lotta Love. Like it had the rhythm of the guitar/non-drumming part of Ramble on, but otherwise felt more like the breakdown of Whole Lotta Love, if they based a whole song more on that part.
It's one of those moments where I had a dream sometime back and going "Oh yeah, this song" and then waking up and knowing it existed. I usually wake up and go "Nah, that's not right, that's just a dream." but, in this instance, it felt real. Like a real memory of some iconic song of Led Zeppelin that plays on the radio. But, each time I go back to look at it, it doesn't seem to exist anymore.
Anyone recall this as well?

The Doors - The End no longer features a sitar.
Just to clarify, I am not confusing it with the Rolling Stones' Paint it Black. I am strictly referring to the lengthy Doors song The End. I legitimately remember it having a sitar in it, but apparently it doesn't/no longer does.

Handmaids tale commercial 2019 first quarter
I remember at the end of the commercial they lady was wearing a mask. I distinctly remember thinking how can she breathe in that mask. I was actually so traumatized by the commercial, I got up and physically left the room. This was also in a time when I remember TiVo could retroactively and remotely update files on your TiVo. So I thought they did some predictive programming, then went back and changed it on everyone’s DVR. I was hoping there was someone older whom may have recorded the Super Bowl on a vhs tape or something. Do you remember seeing a mask at the end of the 2019 Super Bowl Handmaids tale in the first quarter?

Personal Experience NEW coraline Mandela affect i havent seen online.
Ok so i remember as the hand is dragging coraline and it zooms into the door with green bangs that it shows the other side with the other mother laughing and smiling from sort of a side angle? It always randomly pops up in my mind while watching.. the laugh was like when she throws the triangle thing into fire. That type of laugh and I dont remember the background in the tunnel just the other mother.

Christmas Song
There is a Christmas song that has these lyrics:
"Don we now our gay apparel"
I don't recall that this song was originally about that. When did it change?

Mandela Effect: Ocarina of Time Remake - Blue and Red Rug in the Forest Temple
During the Ocarina of Time Remake Trailer, the Rug in the spinning corridor of the Forest Temple was Blue... A few days later it changed to Red.
I am not kidding, it was Blue a few days ago. Am I the only one? I am level headed when it comes to the Mandela Effect, but this low key unsettleing.
Is someone out there from my timeline who saw it Blue before it suddenly changed to Red?

Logos Does anyone else remember chat GPT being called “Jack GPT”?
This is a prime case of the Mandela effect. I and some of friends and loved ones and a small (but growing) community online whom I’ve asked about this clearly remember the original name of chat gpt being Jack gpt but when I looked up if there was ever a name change google shows no results for “Jack GPT” at all. This literally broke my worldview. Does anyone remember people used to say “I’m going to ask Jack about this” and it was funny because I had a close friend called Jack and we used to joke all the time about how “Jack GPT” was really useful. Yesterday I went onto what I had formerly known as Jack GPT and was met with a completely new logo and name. This must sort of conspiracy or maybe just the strongest example of the Mandela effect I’ve ever encountered….

Observations Mandela Effect: Straight Outta Compton
I watched Straight Outta Compton 3 times in the movie theaters when it came out. I know there was a scene when Easy E was jumped outside a house at night and injected with “unknown” substance. Now I can’t find it anywhere and it’s definitely not in the Netflix version.

C-3PO did have two gold legs as I and my friends remember
I just saw this on the 1970s Reddit. Clearly two gold legs on this bedspread which is not what you see if you google C-3PO.

Maybe I’m crazy, maybe it’s Maybelline.
As the title suggests, this is about the brand Maybelline, specifically their tagline. You know, the iconic: “Maybe it’s Maybelline”? Well, I distinctly remember the tagline saying: “Maybe it’s Maybelline” with “New York” whispered in the background. Like: “Maybe it’s Maybelline (New York)”. Maybe I’m going crazy, maybe my memory is off, I don’t know, but I was wondering if anyone else remembers this or am I just losing my mind.
