Hello, I wanted to see what y'all think! This was my first suit up, I still have to make my cumberband and add Velcro for the armor. But it's almost there!

My first time building and painting my own costume. I think it came out pretty decent. It was definitely a learning process, lots of things I can apply to a next build.

Did you develop any lore for your OC or do you just like cosplaying?

I wanted to share a recent little photo shoot and show off my new paint job on my kit.
All armor and weaponry printed and painted in house. Super proud of how this all turned out.

I wanted to put together a suit so she could join me in costume this Halloween, and what started as a fun idea has turned into a pretty involved build. There’s been a lot of prep work behind these pieces, and I’m learning a ton about getting printed armor to look the way I envisioned.
It’s not perfect, and I know there’s still room for improvement, but I’m proud of how far everything has come. Seeing the individual pieces start to look like an actual Mandalorian kit makes all those hours of sanding worth it.
I’d love feedback from the community, especially on the paint job, weathering, and any finishing touches that could take this build to the next level.

I’m a cosplayer living in Korea.

I love Star Wars, and since I’ve always wanted to try a "Mando" (Mandalorian) cosplay, I decided to make one.

There are still plenty of things to refine—like the costume itself—but I’m sharing it here because I’d love for you to take a look.

After spending the past few weeks working on a Bo-Katan Kryze Mandalorian cosplay for my wife, I finally have the helmet looking pretty decent! 🔥
This has been a labor of love involving plenty of sanding, painting, and learning along the way. It’s definitely been a process getting the finish to look right, but I’m really happy with how it’s coming together.
I’m building the full suit so my wife can join me in Mandalorian armor this Halloween, and seeing the pieces slowly come together has been incredibly rewarding.
I’m still learning the ins and outs of cosplay finishing, so I’d love to hear what you think! Any tips for improving the paint finish, weathering, or adding those final details are always welcome.

Hi, I am currently working my first set of Mandalorian (Pre-Beskar Din Djarin) armor and I am currently working on his cape, I am using a 55% wool blend blanket. do I need to add a hem onto any of the edges or should I be okay leaving the edges unhemmed? currently the blanket has two edges hemmed and the other two are not.

I played my custom kit at Con in Korea Finally!

In Season 1 Episode 6 of The Mandalorian they've hyped up the tracking beacon to be a death sentence for anyone who is located on the same vessel as the beacon. At the end of the episode we see that 3 X-wings arrive for the call and they proceed to destroy the space port thingy. Are X-wings that terrifying that 3 of them counts as a death sentence? After all the movies I saw it didn't feel like X-wings were that powerful.

Liek obviously you have the people born into it, and then foundlings, but sense you don’t need to be born or adopted in, how do you actually become a mandalorian? Like do you just walk up to a random mando and be like “yo can I join?” I feel like that’s silly.

I know beskad is a sword, and kal is a dagger.

(Kad is mandoa for sword, kal is blade.)

Do we get any other weapon names in mando'a? Anything for axes, or variations of blades, etc? Seems strange that the warrior culture only has two basic weapons.

Howdy Yall. Kinda new here but it seemed like a nice place to post and gloat. Took a few months while I learned the printing, sanding and painting processes, but at long last my first helmet is almost complete. It just needs a matte clear coat and the visor, but yeah. Im proud of this one. Any constructive criticism or advice is appreciated.

Edit: The files are the Heavy Spartan/Mando from Galactic Armory. The weathering powder were largely "calmed down" after a layer of clear coat.

Its meant to be a poisonous snake wrapping around a medicine stick. "To make a cure one must know the poison just as well." is a saying used by members of Clan Ulmar, a way of saying everyone must get their hands dirty in the search of knowledge. They were once healers and spiritual guides in days long lost, and with time they sold themselves as healers to those in need of aid. But the way to Chaos is paved with good intention, and so they went from healing those who hired them, to keeping prisoners alive, to then inflicting pain without death. Eventually becoming prominent underworld torturers. Shunned and looked down upon by their more honor bound and better fighting fellows only added to animosity towards other clans. The clan is slowly rebuilding and is weary of other Mandalorian's but still wish to find a way to become the Warrior Healers they once were.

Saphro is a young Mirialan who was taken in by the current leader, his father seeks to help them regain their "Honor long lost" as he puts it. They use a Providence-Class Dreadnought as their clans home.

I do a lot of leather work so leather is something I love using and have plenty of! So i used a 8oz vegtan leather to cut and paint these chest plates. I tried to match the color of my helmet that i made 3 years ago and added a muted red stripe.

The old chest armor looks a loooot worse and amature-y to show yall haha

So in the movie ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ Mando gets his helmet removed by the twins. He says it will be okay if he kills everyone who’s seen it, but the dragon snake has seen his face as well but ultimately survives….? Is this a plot hole, or doesn’t it count for creatures? Or is the snake blind or something?

First blaster I’ve ever made. I’m pretty happy with it. Now I have to work on a holster.

Went as my mandalorian for liverpool comicon on the Saturday. Fantastic time.

For my first paint job i think it went quite well! I'm very happy with it!!!
