Project Hospital had the right blend of realism, challenge, graphics and learning curve for me. Oddly, I also enjoy Two Point Hospital which works and acts very differently, but in that case it was more the humour and discrete challenges that hooked me.

What can you recommend in the same vein as PH?

It absolutely doesn’t need to be medical-related. The original Prison Architect was also fun, despite thinking the subject matter would be a turn-off.
