I have an old set of the Real Techniques MultiTech Point brushes in sizes S - XXXS. Several are pretty worn now, and I love the size, shape and feel of the birstles.
Please help me find brush dupes / similar brushes!
I'm interested in finding XS-L.
Descriptor found online:
"Real Techniques MultiTech Point, in a range of different sizes from XXXS to XXXL. Each brush has exactly the same cut, which can be used for creams, liquids and powders, and as a result of this, it is entirely up to you how you use them."

i reapply at my desk twice before 11 and it still ends up on my coffee lid and the side of a mug instead of my mouth. liquid lip was meant to fix the printing and it just went crepey in the corners by lunch. ive mostly stopped bothering on work days now, which feels a bit daft at 34 but there we are.
so what are the rest of you actually wearing that survives coffee and talking all day. not chasing a miracle, just curious what works for people who got sick of the reapply loop too.

My apologies if this is the wrong sub, I really don't know where to go with this question!
So, to keep it short, how do you confidently wear lipstick?
Sounds silly but hear me out: I have relatively small lips, not just thin, but also smaller in width, and by nature they are kinda.... wrinkly. Always been like that. No matter what shade of lip product I try, it feels like it's "too much", even nude/natural shades feel like they make my lips stand out weirdly or make my lips look even smaller.
I'd like to hear opinions/experiences from fellow people with small lips š„ŗ I would just love to wear some bold colors and not worry about it all the time like there's something wrong with my face. Any advice/words of encouragement/practical tips?

I actually really like the shape my lashes make naturally, theyāre already quite long and thick. All I want is a black mascara to make them pop, and waterproof just to be safe. I donāt want curling, āfalse lash effect,ā āextension effect,ā āsuper volumizing,ā etc etcāI find that if I need to do a second pass of the brush because I missed a spot, the effects sometimes get doubled and my lashes start looking spidery or artificial.
Bonus points if it comes in a mini tube thatās easier to toss in my purse, but that really does come last in terms of requirements.

If concealer is supposed to give full coverage then WHY are none of my drugstore concealers actually covering anything?? Like at this point I feel like I've tried so many different brands and somehow none of them are giving me what I want. All I'm asking for is a concealer that covers my dark circles without needing five layers, blends easily without me having to fight for my life and doesn't settle into every single line under my eyes after two hours. Some concealers look amazing when I first apply them but start creasing almost immediately while others barely cover anything unless I keep adding more product which obv just makes everything look cakey. Please tell me what works for you because I'm tired of buying concealers that end up sitting in my drawer.

I put together this 8-pan Holika Holika My Fave Multi Palette using shades I chose myself. The customizable format is easily my favorite partāI could skip the colors I rarely use and build a palette that actually suits my makeup style. Some of the shades also work as blush, which makes the palette even more versatile.
The formula itself is okay, but nothing particularly impressive. The pigmentation is fairly soft, and the lighter shades seem especially sheer, so they need a bit more building. This may work well if you prefer subtle, layerable color, but it probably wonāt impress anyone looking for strong payoff in one swipe.
Iāve also found that the amount of fallout depends a lot on the brush. A loose, fluffy brush kicks up noticeably more powder, while a denser brush keeps it more manageable.
Overall, Iām more impressed by the customizable concept and versatility than by the formula itself. Iām still happy with the palette because I was able to choose colors Iāll actually use and wear some of them on both my eyes and cheeks.
Shades shown in the swatch photo:
Has anyone else built one of these palettes? Which shades did you choose?

I love to go Shopping. Yesterday I just felt like going casual. So I went out in a Denim Jumper dress, striped shirt and Tennis shoes. Just wore my regular makeup. Some Shimmery pinks and purples. Then donned a cute set of nails. Found a cute independent thrift store and got a beautiful pair of vintage Clip on Earrings.

I took a rear camera selfie and changed my whole makeup
Post
Has anyone else taken a selfie on the rear camera and hated it?
I usually like my brows and my T-zone really defined. The rear camera felt like I was finally seeing what I actually look like. The proportions looked a little off, and my eyes went straight to the T-zone, so the features I like didn't show.
So I recently took a lot of the T-zone makeup off. I dropped the nose shading. That part used to be my pride.
My brows are already pretty full, so I don't draw a line with a brow pencil. I used Espoir The Brow Color Fixing Cara to bring out the hair strokes and take the color down a bit. The brush tip is thin and it doesn't clump, so the strokes stay visible. One thing that helped was going a little lighter than my hair color.
The other pic is a rear camera selfie too. What do you think? Lightening the brow color spread the focus, and my face looks softer. The balance looks better to me. I'm happy with it.

Iāve been getting more into lining my upper waterline with black, however I hate having it transfer to my lower waterlineā¦any suggestions? Iāve been using the half magic velvet flik liner and it works really well, but I still get some transference on the lower waterline.
I just have small eyes and want a thicker upper lash line and bright/open lower oneā¦is that too much to ask? Haha. Anyways, I wasnāt sure if maybe a gel liner would be considered more bulletproof or not. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I saw someone do this and loved the idea. I have a fairly typical full glam base, with my eyes being the alternative focal point to it. I keep my blush pretty toned down and I don't do anything to my eyebrows. I have 8 facial piercings (nose chain, eyebrows, snake bites with half hoops) all gold. Has anyone else tried these products and loved them? I feel like I hit the affordable makeup lottery (for my specific skin type). My base always looks great!

Hi, I'm wanting a mascara that's as good as KVD go big or go home mascara, it never smudges, even when wet, no clumps. I can no longer get it in the UK.
Could I get some recommendations please, not Maybelline, I hate it, and I'm not keen on Rimmel. Thanks

Iām sooo tempted to finally try a tubing mascara. Iām the type of person who finds one mascara I like and literally never switches but I keep seeing people talk about how much easier tubing formulas are to remove and now I kinda want to try one just to see if it makes a difference. The Milani tubing mascara keeps coming up and itās defff one Iām considering but there are like 4 options, that I have no idea with which one to start. My biggest thing is removal because I hate having to rub at my lashes forever at the end of the day.

Disclosure: AMUTY is working with TIRTIR on a product-testing campaign, and this product was provided to our team. This post is not paid.
I recently swatched the TIRTIR Mood Glider Lip & Blush Stick in 03 Tangerine Glow.
Despite the shade name, it looks more like a deep warm red with a touch of orange on my hand. The color is quite intense, so Iād start with a very small amount when using it on the cheeks.
The rounded applicator is fairly wide, which seems convenient for blush but may require a little more control for precise lip application. The texture felt creamy and blended without much effort during this quick hand swatch.
For a simple stain test, I left the swatch on for about 10 minutes and wiped it off with a wet wipe. Very little color remained, so I wouldnāt expect a strong stain based on this initial test.
These are only first impressions from a hand swatch, so I canāt comment yet on lip wear time or how it blends over foundation.
If youāve tried this shade, did it look more red or more orange on you?

Someone asked why I almost always pose looking off to the side. Force of habit, mostly, since I do think my right side is my best. But here's one looking forward, which maybe gives a clearer view of my makeup efforts? Is my facial shape off-putting? (AMAB, MTF Trans-something.)

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has given me tips and suggestions through this feed. I have gotten some really useful advice that I have tried to put into use.
I havenāt had a chance to dress up for a couple of weeks. So this weekend I wore a new dress and tried out a little different makeup. I used my older LA colors urban eye shadow palette because it had a nice yellow that matched my dress. So I used that on my lid the rest of my eye I used a shimmery peach color. I also changed up my foundation with a lighter color from Almay. I used the 100 instead of the 200 which was a touch too dark
So I am learning and getting better. Thanks to the help Iām getting on here. It truly is all about the little details and the difference they make.
Thanks everybody

Hi!
Especially when i do my eyeliner, i like to use eyeshadow to soften it near my eye (i use liquid eyeliners) but it always disappears within an hour.
Overall just eyeshadow just wonāt stay on my eyes no matter what I do. Especially my black eyeshadow which is insanely dark and looks awesome when i put it on, but by after a few hours itās gone
My eyelids, especially the outer corner of my eye isnāt oily at all, rather dry-ish.
Now the makeup I use isnāt top notch stuff but the same eyeshadow works for my friend and she isnāt using anything, just eyeshadow.
The eyeshadows i use have a lot of pigments so iām not sure what iām foing wrong:/

Hi٫ until now I've mostly used neutral/black shades of makeup but lately I've been wanting to do more colorful makeup٫ but I really don't know what shade or color would suit me.
I particularly like pink but I don't know if I should go with a warmer or a colder one٫ my mom says that green would suit me but I'm not sure٫ also if is relevant٫ I'm planning to dye the bleached part off my hair strawberry pink

These were all from this week's photo/makeup/styling session. I tried to start out with a minimal look ending with a full "face" - albeit not a really "glam" look.
Concealer, foundation, eyeliner, lipliner augmented by lip gloss (MORPHE Make It Big Plumping Lip Gloss).
Added some upper lid mascara, lipstick (NYX Dainty Gaze).
More defined upper lid liner, mascara, wispy cluster (one one each eye), and tight-lined upper lid.
Added brow pencil and shadow to define the brows, slight eyeshadow and MAC Red Rocks lipstick. NYX Professional Makeup Buttermelt Blush Sunset Sorbet.
NYX On Fuego lipstick, additional blush.
I'm thinking that my natural brows are pretty sparse to begin with and that going light, even when adding some definition works.
As always, I look forward to your comments and critiques - Hope this is at least entertaining??

I've been using the TIRTIR red cushion in 25N and I love the color, but it gets kinda oily on me by midday. Trying to switch to something a little more matte š¤
A friend put me onto the Espoir Be Velvet cushion so I swatched a few shades side by side. Honestly obsessed with the coverage lol but there are SO many shades and I can't decide. Which one looks best on my face? Be brutally honest pls!
