About a month ago, I bought a Hobbit gift bundle from Microcenter to open on my birthday. Well, yesterday was the day, and holy crap! I had heard about duplication and the small set, but I never expected this.

I was already celebrating the gift bundle when I hit the first Gleaming Splendor in the 3rd play pack (I’d heard how rough these bundles could be). And then I hit another, and another, and another…

I hit 4 mythics in the entire bundle, all of them Gleaming Splendor. The foil one was in the collector pack, the others in the 9 play packs. Insane!

Almost 3 years, multiple boxes, countless wall hangers and now 3 pack draft packs at Best Buy. I finally pulled a One Ring. Sauron finally has what is rightfully his 🥹

Haven’t opened any other packs yet. This was in my topper didn’t realize:( I shouldn’t have opened it.
I was just asking if this was a good buy or not. Very glad I got it now.

I think I'm going to call it quits for the rest of today and just start fresh on Monday.... 🤣

Whoops, had to edit out the SN. Couldn’t be more stoked about the pull and the grade!

It said it’s worth $177 but I’m not sure if it’s right . Any one mind chiming in and sharing if this is a strong card and is it really worth that much?

Yesterday was me and my husband's 16th anniversary. He's completely not into Magic, or anything nerdy really, but he got me an Avatar booster box yesterday! I used to play MTG literally 30 years ago when I was a teenager, but my cards were lost to time. I started playing and collecting again in June, and this is my first booster box. And I literally squealed when I pulled this! It's not, like, a mortgage card, but it's the most valuable card I've pulled so far! Just thought I'd share here!

Still shaking. Needed that red ajani for my commodore guff too! Jace going straight into it as well!

Got both of my chase cards! I couldnt be happier!!

Collector booster was meh, but the Play boosters were LOADED! 😲😳!

I decided to rip a pack before dinner and oh boy was I surprised ;) I waited 2 weeks for this box of set boosters so I was eager/excited.

And these are the bigs ones in there

Anyone remember these?

“Hits” from birthday pulls! Decided to pick up two Draft Night boxes from Microcenter to celebrate now being in my late twenties after being in the airport for 16 hours today!

Bought the draft nights because I like collector boosters and a collector box wasn’t available. Honestly collector packs would’ve been disappointing without the Lilliana pull, as both Theorists actually came from regular play boosters.

For anyone wondering, I separated the packs into Jace, Chandra, and Lilliana.

Chandra had the best pulls but the 2nd most packs at 8 (1x Theorist, 1x Snapcaster, and I believe the Thalias).

Lilliana had the next best with the 1st most packs at 10 (1x Theorist, Full Art Foil Samut, Borderless Avacyn, and 2x Jird)

Jace had the worst and the least packs (6) with only the snapcaster and the Ingris Foil

Overall really happy!! Genuinely have so much fun ripping this set because I love the echoed pair mechanic. Super stoked to have hit the theorist twice and my personal chases, the full art white Lilliana and the Light Realms.
