Reddit should have a poll on each video to see if people think it’s ai or not

u/Elastichedgehog 22h ago
This would be interesting because I am willing to bet their accuracy would be absolute garbage.

It's always the brosperts that couldn't even send an emails correctly suddenly lecturing us how to spot aI.

This damn sub has gone too far with accusing everything of being AI. We even got people pointing out that stuff that is very much accurate in life, is AI because that's not what life is.
ATP people mistakenly accusing things of being AI is a more common occurrence than AI on this sub.

u/Canidae_Vulpes 4h ago
Maybe that’s the plan, say everything is AI so people just stop caring if it is or not..🤔

I don't know but this looks very AI - Just me?
Because otherwise they are really cute
Edit: Apparently not - so appreciate everyone being helpful. Thank you for correcting me. Because they are pretty cute. For those looking - disney nature's tiger.

Im 99% sure I saw this on a nature documentary voiced over by Morgan Freeman or David Attenborough a few years back

u/joshuatimothylee 18h ago
Nevermind I found it. The documentary is called Disneynature's Tiger. The momma tiger's name is Ambar. The pups are Ivy, Ravi, Charm and Golu

I don't think this is AI. The eyebrow patterns on the babies are actually consistent. The baby from the second shot is the baby at the bottom of the first shot. And the baby from 4 seconds before the end is the baby from the top left of the first shot. The baby from the middle of the clip the one that is chewing on a stick as well as the next one is not there in any of them. This level of consistency is not yet possible with AI I think.
Edit: The baby facing the camera in the last shot is the baby in the top right of the first shot.
bro -> eyebrow

Yep agreed AI slop, needs to be flagged
Few telling signs, these are just my opinion but the faces are not the normal bone structure for a tiger, they are more like domestic kittens.
Fur looks all nice, polished and clean rather than your usual rugged look, these are wild animals.
Another sign normally is it's over staged, they cubs are framed, captured in a way that's unnatural, its built to build on social media engagement and drive interaction.
Hope that helps
Edit: it seems I can't reply or comment on this post, but seems a number of people have informed me it's from a Disney documentary which I'm grateful for, happy to be stand corrected, as stated it was my personal opinion and would rather challenge than just accept, but pleased to be corrected, just a note, never stated I was an "explicit" AI expert 😊

Everyone's suddenly a fucking AI expert. You clearly know jack shit about how much documentary shots are carefully staged and how closely monitored tigers are.

You're confidently wrong. It's from a documentary called Tiger. You can find this video circulating since 2024. Hope that helps

u/Naavarasi 16h ago
Tiger fur usually looks nice and clean in the wild. I remember them looking like this even in documentaries twenty years ago.
That IS the normal bone structure for a young tiger. Their snouts elongate as they age.
It is likely staged, on that I agree - but this is not AI.

Whats the tell?

u/nixieack 22h ago
It's moving weird - animals don't move like that - like when she is licking the pup clean

u/Gordon_Betto 22h ago
At 0:03 though, the cub exhaling is moving a piece of soil beneath it. That would be extremely detailed for AI no?

Imagine in a few years...
I'm already second guessing every single video I watch on here, what happens when nobody can tell what's AI and what's not?
Yeah, the internet is dying for sure

I hate this so much. I can’t believe the dead internet theory is happening as we speak

I was just thinking about this - like they create this space for human interaction and then they are like to drive the said interaction let's include non humans to the mix - and then they don't grow or evolve making the whole thing stagnant - also now with AI will it start evolving? Like will be start interacting with entities that we only beileve are human?

u/DRKAYIGN 14h ago edited 14h ago
Well they do move like that because this is real footage LOL The one in the footage called Golu the clumsy one and died.

u/lilacnyangi 14h ago
i love the confidently incorrect essays people write on reddit. how are you not embarrassed?

u/LordDeArche 20h ago
So why not a staged video? Like presenting tigers for a video. Also, in my opinion, those look like baby tigers.
5
u/DRKAYIGN 12h ago
Because it's part of an entire documentary?
3
u/LordDeArche 12h ago
That was my point to the guy who listed reasons why it could be a staged video but somehow concluded it was AI instead.

This is my biggest dread on social media. Our generation may get confused but future generations won't have much idea of what original must look like. They are training out neurones.

This does not look ai in the slightest, the video is too consistent, and also keep in mind baby animals move weird, they haven’t learned how to fully control their bodies yet! I am 100% sure that this is NOT AI, this is just a very cute video of some very cute baby tigers.. I hate that we live in a world where we can’t just enjoy cute animal videos without having to worry if it’s real or not…I’ve seen enough baby kitties irl to tell that these movements are real, baby animals shake a bit when they move, it’s normal, they haven’t learned how to not shake yet! They’re clumsy and wobbly, so are most human babies too! These movements do not look ai, and neither does the visuals, ai struggles with consistent fur patterns especially for creatures like tigers and the patterns are too consistent to be ai

u/Independent_Club_368 21h ago
Also forgot to mention but this video does not have any ai fuzz!! The easiest way to tell if a video is ai or not is that ai images and videos have a specific fuzz to them! If you’ve seen enough ai images You’ll know what I’m talking about, usually even static things like for example the dirt would have a fuzz to it, but since this video is real it doesn’t have the ai fuzz!

Not AI.
7
u/LordDeArche 20h ago
Threw the video into an Ai checker, 97% chance of it being authentic. The first frame tells me it's most likely not AI because it the tiger in front shifts his hind foot over his other hind foot, before getting up. Meanwhile it's tail despite temporary not in frame is constantly pointing to the left. Then there is that tiger that fell into a roll, it did not folded into itself, it fell on its head when it rolled. Then the surrounding vegetation acts as vegetation would when disturbed.

u/DRKAYIGN 14h ago edited 12h ago
Stop with the AI comments lol
It's real footage from a Disney documentary called Tigers released in 2024. It featured a mom and her four cubs, the one you see rolling was called Golu (the clumsy one). It's probably still on the Disney Channel.
Lol.. I'm not sure who keeps downvoting people confirming that it's legitimate but for example the scene at the very end with the cubs in a pile can be found around the 5:00min mark of the documentary

There is a moment where 3 cubs are sitting together (2 are facing Away) and the one in the middle the left side of the face clips into the hind quarters of the other cub.
Also these cubs seem carefully young to be in the open

u/SIDESTEAL 13h ago
I asked AI if it was real and it said NO 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
2
u/DRKAYIGN 12h ago edited 12h ago
AI is wrong lol.
It's real. I don't know if you have access to the Disney Channel but if you do locate the documentary scroll to the 5-minute mark and compare it to the very last scene of the posted video.
