Or imagine the guy at the back of the jet bridge line impatiently looking around saying “what the fucks going on up there!”

Man the sacrifice tons of people make for their kids and others is so amazing. I’m away from my kids a little and I miss them so much. My heart hurts. I can’t imagine doing it for decades. Damn. I give her so much credit. Must’ve been so damned hard.

Yeah, a parents sacrifice is the most honest one. Truly a wonderful moment for them

What a blessing to have a mother like that who spent her life so kids could have a better life! Nothing can come close to a love of a mother.

Flying school takes a toll on you huh

You joke but apparently being in the business does that to you. I don’t know how to translate it well, but something about people working in the air traffic control tower being twenty years younger than they look

Air traffic control and pilot are two very different professions

I would think it’s the fact that they’re responsible for so many lives, for so, so long.
But I wouldn’t really know, I’m not in the flying business.6

Probably the stress and tension ages the body

That’s what too much responsibility, with no actual super power does to a person.

I am a nervous flyer but I trust this pilot and take my seatbelt off midflight.

Inam always surprised by how the comments changes for the same video depending upon the sub.
I remember seeing this video on a different sub and comments were very very different.

Too much kissing

u/ssgtgriggs 1d ago
not everyone has to adhere to what you deem normal. that’d be a normal amount of kissing in my culture given the emotional situation. different cultures show affection differently.

Kissing on the cheeks is super sweet but the kissing in the neck made it a bit awkward for me.

Thank you. You understand me. That is what I was referring, too. You dont kiss your mother on the neck like that. I kiss my J-wife/mom like that, not my biological mom!

No. Do you know how much free time pilots get per week. Maybe 1 or 2 days max and they are exhausted...

But you are required to log 1500 hours flight time to get the license which can take a lil while
