I'm using this in my next DnD game.
"So do we find ourselves in a tavern?"
"NOPE! Open mic night at ye olde senior center! It's your turn. Roll for performance."

I shared this with my buddy. He said his barbarian belts out a beautiful rendition of O Sole Mio..... In the original Klingon.
I think he won the scenario.

What lies beyond the wall….is a senior home that does karaoke on Wednesdays from 3-4pm.

All that mystery and suspense just to discover the final boss is a bunch of seniors singing karaoke on a Wednesday 😂

He also released some original songs on youtube and spotify, and I think they are quite nice too :) I listen sometimes to some of them. My favorite is Backwood Banks

But that's why we built the wall! What's wrong with the wall?!

I thought we built the wall to keep us free?

Nah mate, you don't get it. At the end of the sidequest he gets the entire senior center to join him.

So selfish. They go to a talent show, and now who's there to fight back the growing threat beyond the wall? So sad to see people so heartless.

This was dope and kinda made my day. I'm a simple man. At 44 with no wife or kids, it doesn't take much to blow my mind from small acts of humanity and goodness.
This is just a good reminder to be good to one another when your able. Take care of each other when ya can. We're all in this together and I've the feeling we'll all need someone at some point over the next few years. So set the stage and be an advocate for humanity. I'll try my best and do the same. With all my love and light to you and all of yours.

Close in age but with a wife and a kid. What’s life like for you?

I'm in the same boat as the other guy. It's quiet, sometimes fairly, sometimes very.

I've got a big family, meaning couple of brothers, sister, and a bunch of cousins from both sides that grew up together at family cabin that's been a big part of story since 67. I've got nieces and nephews but just couldn't get that part worked out for me. My parents met at 13 and that's where it started. A couple of bad relationships and one that just wasn't right no matter how much we'd wished otherwise.
I'm no different than most I don't think just maybe a little wiser for my age but that comes with challenge and I've had that in spades. I've no complaints though at least none worth talking about lol. World can be an awfully hard place and just trying to do my best to help where I can.

You know they enjoyed every minute of that performance. My gma lived her last years in a retirement home and she would have loved it! The smallest acts mean the world to them.

Ok this is the most random ending I've seen today! Jon Snow became Shaggy LOL Love it. Well done!

Love how he rolled with it. A few weeks ago two friends dropped out of a 5 person ghost tour. A man walked by and complimented the host’s outfits (Victorian era) and we invited him to join us since the tickets were already paid for. We had a great time and he was just out for a walk anyways!

Love how he rolled with it
I think that is part of the schtick. Probably why he named it "Side Quests"
