TIPS Just start pulled Rodgers and sold other cards. Where do I go from here.

I played a little of 26 but I never really grinded anything. Started 27 is like a brand new game. I noticed there’s no ultimate captain or anything like that and there’s a new evo system.. but only certain cards qualify? Tried to upgrade the Lowe’s Jordan love but couldn’t. Also there’s no 50/50 tt? Just need some advice, I don’t wanna spend all the coins and not be able to recoup them bc idk how lol. Anything helps!!!!
