Come join my prison server! It's been out for a few years now and we just released Season 3 a couple weeks ago. We have a very close knit, friendly community. If you're looking to be spawn camped by pvp'rs, this isn't the place for you, we have a mostly adult community who come here to talk to their friends, grind, and compete against eachother instead.
The entire prison was built by the community, including all 36 mines! (A-Z Rank, and 10 prestige mines!) So even if you don't want to grind or talk to the community, come on and admire the builds of this massive passion project that took us close to a year to complete.
There's 5 rebirths, 50 prestiges each one, but the grind speeds up as you unlock better upgrades on your tools and gear. We have a custom XP system, where 1 minute of grind = 1 level of XP. So whether your farming, fishing, mining or slaying mobs, you'll gain XP, to which you can use to buy crate keys, rename tools or items, or bet on /gangs in the weekly gang top competition (top 3 gangs with the most grind XP gained that week, get a % of the total XP invested in the top 3 pool!) If your invested gang wins a place, you will also get a % of the XP!
We are mostly custom coded, with unique features, events, and so much more! We even have custom drugs you can farm and USE, like Weed, Coke, Shrooms, Moonshine, Acid, and Quaaludes (farm them with our unique drug spawner feature, but be cautious, everything this season was designed to be incredibly addicting. Imagine Season 3 as a minecraft classic prison tycoon with modern touches / cookie clicker grind, but fun, and something you can do for months on end.)
The main progression method is mining, but you can also fish up custom fish, make cookies with our custom cookie plugin + special enchants, or upgrade your pvp skill tree to hit the sewers and grind the mobs! (Tip: Try and collect some mob shards from mobs, you can use them at the Sewer Merchant in commissary to buy Key Cards to access the varying in difficult boss cells!)
I made a unique power level system for each progression path. In essence, leveling up your mining skill tree's / purchasing it's enchants etc., can see you increase not only your earning potential across the other 3 progression methods, but also increase your profit ceiling. Upgrading your other power levels, i.e. fishing power level, to 100%, will now see you make comparable money to mining per hour.
So we reward the miners, but once you get to around p20-p30, you will likely be in a good position to switch it up for money making, and grind as you please!
We have plenty of quests, for quite literally everything from mining, to sewers, to even afk'ing in our afk room!
You earn a % of your income afk, and you can raise this up to 12.5% by logging in daily for the /streak rewards.
We have plots where you can put up your player shops, or even at your own rentable cells. Donor ranks, but pretty much everything can be unlocked with just grinding at the Prestige Merchant!
We have two currencies, money for grinding, and Cigs for player eco (auction house, player shops, etc). The only way you can rankup is with money, which cannot be traded or sent, so this prison server ensures that people can only grind the ranks from their own effort. With cigs, you can get this from mining in the pvp mine, selling drugs, betting on /duels, coinflips and more. Upgrade tools with our custom enchanting table, use cigs to do so! You can also buy crate keys with not only XP, but with cigs as well, same with boss key cards and more!
So come on down guys, we've banned pretty much 95% of the trolls in the genre, making The Pen the safest and funnest prison server out there at the moment. We are known for our community, so if you're looking for a place to come and chill, unwind and grind on, then we look forward to seeing you!
