I don't think I've ever asked Internet strangers for help before but I'm in a bit of a bind and figure with how many friendly and good people that are in this town it's at least worth a shot. So basically Im stuck in Lubbock and down on my luck you could say. Ill not go into details for the sake of not making this post a whole essay but the jist of the sitch is the greyhound bus stop in hobbs no longer exists and I've been looking everywhere for a way to get there as I don't know anyone with a vehicle in Lubbock. If you or someone you know think you would be maybe interested/willing to help me I do of course have some money I can pay for gas as well as compensation for your time. We practice 3-4 times a month for MAYBE 2 hours. Just looking for someone who can have some commitment. It’s not a lot. We don’t play much, but part of it is because we can’t find someone that’s at least somewhat reliable.

Trying to pay off my car and my kids school tuition so I’m looking for something long term. I would think this would be easy finding a job but boy was I wrong.

I have experience in Customer service, warehousing, forklift, auto parts. Pretty much available at start at 2pm daily with some days having full coverage. I have applied at multiple places and only received interview.

This is a little unusual, but I am looking to borrow or rent a pair of suspenders and a hat this weekend. The type of hat is not a deal breaker, but I would love a straw hat, flat cap, or newsie cap. Anyone have those available that I could borrow or rent for 24 hrs?

My car's A/C stopped working, and sometimes when I turn it on while idling, the whole car shuts off. Could be a fuse, could be something worse — I've had the battery and alternator checked and both are fine. I can't afford a mechanic right now because my work hours got cut. I usually deliver for Amazon and DoorDash, but with this heat it's been unbearable and I can't keep doing that without A/C.

I'm hoping there's a mechanic or someone car-savvy who might be willing to help out. I can't pay cash upfront, but I'm happy to trade services to make it fair. Here's what I can offer:

All dogs stay indoors with the family, we treat them like they're out dogs while they're with us, including treats and training and interaction from the whole family. We have a large yard with lots of room to run and lots of things to smell and yell at. We prefer medium sized dogs and have lots of experience with poodles/doodles and we do meet-and-greets to try and make sure we are a good fit for your dog.

We can handle raw feeding and other interesting dietary tasks, and we can handle oral medications (no injections).

We do board/sit puppies but there is an additional fee for potty-training.

Our rates are $40/night and we're located near Lubbock International so we tend to be a good fit for people who travel often.
