We currently have by 8 month daughter in a daycare in the area but I was wondering if there are recommendations for ones y’all love? My main concerns at the one she is at is that they don’t follow a routine sleep schedule that we ask for, sometimes keeping her up for 5 hrs at a time. I also just generally don’t get great vibes when I’m there. They do communicate well which I appreciate. Not sure if I am setting my expectations too high or not

Additionally do any of yall know if it’s true that in infant classrooms they aren’t allowed to turn down lights for naps? Thanks in advance

Hi all, I just toured the station apartments in Littleton and I really liked it but I have questions for yall

1. how’s the smoking smell? Can you smell it in your apartments?

2. Are there a lot of bugs if you’re on the first floor?

3. ANYONE faced any vermin/rodent issues? I’ve heard horror stories at other places and I’m trying super hard to be careful on renting a place now.

4. Any other things I should be aware of?

The unit I saw wasn’t super renovated at all, does anyone have a unit like that and was it inconvenient?

Arapahoe Community College (ACC) is working to prepare the next generation of the space industry — beyond just the role of astronaut or engineer. To help support the school’s work, NASA recently awarded the school a $1.3 million grant. 

Although it’s been 70 years since these Littleton High School graduates walked the school halls together and shared lunch between classes, some members of the class of 1956 are still sharing meals once a month — and watching their friendships grow. 

The Littleton City Council is considering a six-month moratorium on new data center development, joining a growing list of Colorado municipalities that have adopted similar measures to give local governments time to develop regulations tailored to the facilities.

The measure is scheduled for a first reading Tuesday. A public hearing, public comment period and second reading are planned for Nov. 3.

Hi all! When we had our son, we had him at St. Joes in Denver. We’re now due end of March and have the option of Advent Littleton or Sky Ridge. Does anyone have strong feelings one way or the other? Hoping for a VBAC, but may have another c section if that changes anything. We’re going to tour them both a little later in pregnancy

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a Kaiser GP? I just had a very bad experience with one that I picked as a new doc. Is there anyone out there you can recommend that listens, is non judgmental and seems to have a capacity for complex medical issues? Thank you.

7Brew Drive Thru Coffee is set to open at 111 W. Mineral Ave. sometime in November, marking the first location of the national coffee retailer in town. With locations across the country — including several in Colorado — the drive-thru coffee shop has quickly grown, from 38 locations in 2023 to over 700 open now.
