I’m thinking of going to a shopping mall in Lille today, but I’m worried that some shops might still be closed because of the protests over the weekend, or that there might be more demonstrations today.
Does anyone know if the shopping malls and stores are open as usual today? Is there still any protest activity going on in Lille?

Hello everyone, I’m coming to Lille by train in 2 weeks (from Brussels) I very recently saw the current situation in there so I’d like to ask how safe is the city? I’m only coming for three days but I’m still worried. A girl who is very close to me currently lives in Lille (but we are not on speaking terms right now) I’m also worried sick for her, she lives near the Zoo. Could you please let me know how safe is Lille right now for her, and also in your opinion will the situation calm down in 2 weeks.
