Hey everyone!
I am an illustrator and designer. I want to share some of the lettering that I made for El Quinto Sol, a playing-card project that draws on mythology and ancient codices.
One of the parts of making El Quinto Sol was creating its whole visual language. That included custom lettering, typography, suit symbols and decorative elements all made to feel like parts of the universe.
I am sharing a close-ups of the lettering next to the finished card designs. I would love to hear what you think!
The project is now, on Kickstarter if you want to see how everything came together:
Cheers!
