Hi, I'm a beginner animator student and I'm not sure if I'm doing this sad walk right. My teacher said I only need to bounce the ears and the little strand hair to finish the sketch. But It still feels like I'm lacking other than the bounce and smoothness🥀
Before I fix everything I just need some more advice and feedback from other artist. Feel free to be brutally honest or straight forward with me. I would really appreciate it if u do 🙏 (since my deadline for this is approaching 😇)
There are 16 frames total and 8 for each step with 24fps. I'm using Adobe animation cus it's the program our school practice.

Hi everyone, this is my first time animating, and here's the sketch I've made so far !!
I've noticed that the animation gets a bit choppy towards the later part, and I was wondering if adding more frames would help make it smoother or should i instead delete some to "speed it up" a bit.
Do you think it's realistic to finish the whole animation within 2 months ? Also, I'm currently animating at 12fps, should I export it at 12fps as well, or would 30fps be better?
I'm still a beginner, so if you have any tips, advice, or constructive criticism, I'm all ears ! I'd really appreciate any feedback. Thanks !!

Hello everyone ! I'm an intermediate level animator, worked a bit in the industry
and basically I think making other people learn is a great way to reinforce my fundamentals and a way to be able to train my english a bit
So, would anyone be interested to have kind of a "mentor" ? i really do not want to sound pretentious though, as i'm still learning myself
if yes, you can either dm me here with your discord or instagram, i'd really like to help
EDIT : a discord server was created https://discord.gg/2RcYHBE5c

Our story is currently in progress, but we've written most of it already. However, we're not sure how to start the animation process. We're unsure of the steps we should take first: storyboard, animatic, sketch, etc.
If you'd like to see the story we're writing, please let me know in the comments. We'd appreciate any help getting started with the animation process, as we're really stuck.

This multidisciplinary project made by Me, Witchgaze and Meljiiit is dedicated to our curiosity about different media approaches. As well as creating a feeling of otherworldly curiosity & childhood nostalgia
we were making clothes out of carton + paper, creating music, constructing rooms, making animations, writing letters, working with aerograph and lots of other materials all together. special thanks to Rayden Vision for the crt

I look forward to hearing your comments, thoughts, and questions. I'm here right now to answer them all <3333

Is there a roadmap to learning animation

I downloaded FlipaClip, but I saw Ibis paint X is better than this one, it's very disappointing.
Ibis paint X is the best app for animation I have ever seen on Android, though I haven't tried Krita yet, this one could be the best, I don't know, I'm seeking for animation software with rigs, deformation tools, etc... like a professional and useful software (ex; Adobe After Effects)
FlipaClip and IbisPaint X limit me.

Hi! I'm a young animator who's been making stuff in Flipaclip since 2018, and recently I upgraded to RoughAnimator, hoping it would be better for me. But now I've realized that the app doesn't really work for me, since I have bigger plans and I struggle with using it to draw the way I want to, so I'm considering upgrading again to a program that supports vector/keyframe animation rather than frame by frame, like Alight Motion (however I don't want to use that one either).
It also doesn't help that I'm now stuck with a Samsung Galaxy phone, I used to have a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite but it broke a few months ago, and I find it a bit tricky to draw on my phone, especially bigger scenes.
I've heard of ToonSquid, and after researching a little bit I really like the features it has and would love to use it, however I don't have an iPad, so it would require me to buy one, which is a big investment. I know about Adobe Animate, but I prefer drawing on a touchscreen rather than with a mouse.
So I'm wondering, should I go all out and buy an iPad to use ToonSquid, would it be worth it considering my situation? I'm fairly certain I could afford it, but I don't want to save up to buy it without being certain of its utility.

I've started working on a game with my partner, and whilst he's been programming, I've been bashing my head against a wall trying to make a duck waddle. There are heaps of tutorials online on how to draw and animate humanoids (which is great!!), but when it comes to animating creatures, I'm at a total loss.
I've linked 2 videos; the first is how the duck looks in asesprite, and the second is how it looks in my partner's greybox (ignore anything that isn't the duck, those are just temp assets found online). I feel like what I have so far is quite side-scrolly, but I don't know how to fix that?? As well as that, the duck moves as if it's wearing roller skates, which isn't ideal. I'm fully open to critique, please do point out any issues!
Also, if anyone has any resources that they've found has helped them with this kind of stuff, please do share them!
