We know your weekend games were probably a nightmare, so we’re opening up the floor for the weekly vent session. Whether it’s a 0/10 Yasuo hitting his "power spike," a jungler who refuses to take dragons, or just getting one-shot by the current meta, scream into the void here.
(Note: If you want to rant about the EOMM algorithm, "loser's queue," or client bugs, drop those in the Monthly Riot Accountability Ledger. This thread is strictly for raw, immediate gameplay tilt.)
The Rules of the Mine:
The floor is yours. What's tilting you this week?

Every ELO is just a different knowledge check, and sometimes you just need an outside perspective to see the "why" behind the game. This is the community space for honest, unfiltered feedback to help each other climb.
How it works:
We aren't here to sugar-coat things, but we aren't here to be douchebags either. Help each other get out of the hardstuck loop here.

Got Autofilled Jungle. Admitted as much, didn't get offered any lanes I can play. Got mass reported by my lobby so they could dodge the lobby and I get punished.
What am I supposed to do Riot? I'm at an elo where people will notice/jump on a bad jungler. I am going to solo lose my team the game. I'm going to get mass reported for my poor performance and get punished by the AI anyways even if I stayed silent.

I just played with this yasuo adc who was apparently a 2k lp Smurf. Nothing about his the way he was playing really screamed “challenger Smurf” since he ended the game being 8/10 but I’ll take his word for it.
He started softly inting halfway through the game, taking fights with no vision and trying to 1v3 and getting dying because he was “bored” and “didn’t need the win”
Genuinely I don’t see the point in smurfing besides just being a straight asshole
Lemme rephrase that, Ik that smurfing has its positives or Wtv but I genuinely feel like the the negatives just outweigh the positives. Like why are u a challenger player trolling in a emerald lobby, and these dudes will just throw the whole game because they start to get bored and the win doesn’t matter to them, it’s just super lame imo. Only reason I think anyone should Smurf is if you’re trying to learn a new role, but even then I feel like that’s still pushing it
Edit: I’m emerald not silver I was using that as an example

Hello fellow summoners,
My friends and I have a dream: a full bee trio in Arena. Two of us are sorted. The third (me, a Neeko player) is not, because Beeko isn’t in the store.
She was available last year, but I was going through a health crisis at the time and missed my chance to buy her. So I did what any reasonable person would do and wrote Riot Support a heartfelt letter, complete with bee puns and a photo of Jeremy, my alligator companion (no relation).
Ticket 1: Lubbock from Player Support was very kind, liked the art, and explained that they can’t sell skins that aren’t currently available. The only way to get Beeko right now is through Hextech crafting, or if the devs decide to bring her back to the store.
Ticket 2: I tried again. Things had escalated. Jeremy now insists on being called Beeremy and has taken up buzzing (it sounds like hissing, but he’s trying). I also pointed out that my Neeko currently disguises herself as my bee friends in Arena, which is technically identity theft, and I’d like to make an honest bee out of her. Alinas from Support was lovely, said it made their day, and confirmed that if Beeko returns to the store it’ll be announced on Riot’s socials.
Both agents were genuinely great, and I get that this isn’t something Support can change. But it means the decision sits with whoever picks which skins come back, so I’m hoping a bit of community noise helps.
So here’s the ask: if you’d also like to see Beeko return to the store (or the Mythic shop, or literally any shop, I’m not picky), upvote, comment and please sign my petition: https://c.org/5y9Pc2P4js . Fellow Neeko mains, fellow bee enthusiasts, people who just want Beeremy to be happy, all welcome.
In return, I solemnly swear that Beeko will only ever fly with her fellow bees, will never be taken into ranked while I’m tilted, and that Beeremy will not be allowed to play her (he has no thumbs).
Bee-st wishes,
TheMusicMeister#EUNE (humble future beekeeper)
P.S. Here is a collection of the images of my alligator companion: https://imgur.com/a/HgaF1za . In the first image you will find #1 The Original Jeremy, and #2 Beeremy

Okey everyone knows that the people from outside and even us league of legends players says that our community is a group of fat people, or with no social life, with the last one I can't do nothing about, but what if we do this?
I'm not a fan of making exercise (if you call me to play basket I go anyways) I don't have the motivation to go with discipline to go to the gym, but I started to do something, everytime I play a Game I do this in base of the KDA
Number of kills: Number of squats
Number of deaths: Number of push ups
Number of assistance: Number of abs
I have something like a bar in my house so if you have one or want to spend one
Gold x1000 (8000 for example) : Number of pull ups (8 for example) (or any back exercise you wish)
I challenge myself and if the number of any stat is lower than 10 y add those ten (18 in the example)
AND IT HELPS WITH MENTAL, SO IS A WIN-WIN
It's a good routine for everyone, We must change our lifestyles and show that we can. LETS GO FOR IT SPREAD THE IDEA!!

Hey guys! As the title says, I'm a tired dad who's finally found some time to get back into the game after 4+ years away.
I'm wondering how the community is these days, especially for returning players and newcomers. Has the game changed a lot over the years? Is it still beginner-friendly, and is the community generally welcoming to new or returning players?
Thanks in advance for any advice! Looking forward to getting back into it!

TL;DR: I got an automatically issued 3-day suspension for "Disruptive Gameplay" after a normal game (4/8/6, 230 CS, standard build). Support "manually reviewed" it twice with copy-paste replies, then auto-closed all future tickets. The penalty page literally says "We have no further details to share with you." I'm not asking to be unbanned - I'm asking why players can't even be told what they did wrong.
What happened
On 14/10 I got this when logging in:
You're temporarily suspended for 3 days. [...] Player reports and an automated service found that you intentionally acted in ways that hurt your team's chances of success.
Screenshot 1 - Suspension notice: https://imgur.com/FeEZmW9
The penalty details page shows:
Screenshot 2 - Penalty details: https://imgur.com/9vOARw5
The game in question
Ranked Flex, Lillia jungle, 30 min loss.
Screenshot 3 - Match scoreboard (other players' names hidden): https://imgur.com/KrOxvbg
I also downloaded and watched the replay with a friend. Nothing unusual: no AFK, no running it down, no item selling, no weird pathing. Just a lost game. I'm happy to share the replay file (.rofl) if anyone wants to check it themselves - it only works on the current patch, so ask soon.
Support experience
Ticket 1 - I asked for a human to review the VOD/match. Reply (shortened):
Upon looking at recent behavior on this account, I can confirm those rules were broken by actions that intentionally made the game worse for other players, and so the penalty will be upheld. [...] this and any future tickets about this penalty will be automatically closed.
Ticket 2 - I asked specifically: what did I do, so I can avoid it in the future? Reply:
After a new review, I can confirm the penalty was placed correctly and will remain.
That's it. No timestamp, no behaviour, nothing. I opened a third ticket asking for a human - closed as well.
The funny part: the penalty page itself says "Penalties may be appealed for review. Submit an appeal." - but every appeal after the first one is automatically closed.
Screenshot 4 - All 3 tickets closed: https://imgur.com/6QZ9UdZ
Screenshot 5 - Ticket 1: https://imgur.com/wOLbrxO
Screenshot 6 - Ticket 1 reply: https://imgur.com/skOxjbD

My point
I get that Riot doesn't want to reveal exactly how detection works. But there's a huge gap between "here's our secret algorithm" and "you were flagged for X around minute Y". Right now:
How is anyone supposed to "reform" if they don't know what they did? For chat bans Riot shows you the chat logs - why can't gameplay bans show at least the reason or the moment that was flagged?
If player reports are enough to trigger this on a normal game, that's even more reason to tell people what the system actually saw.
Has anyone else had an automated "Disruptive Gameplay" ban on a normal-looking game? Did you ever get a real explanation?

There was pot about Caedrel getting Queue locked because of picking Jhin jungle.
The lobby got terminated most probably because, he played champion on exotic role, had mastery level bellow 3 (only 1 prior game) and got reported (speculation).
If he had mastery level 3 or higher the lobby would most probably not get terminated and the game progress.
And discussion trickled down, where this person says he doesn't mind playing with Yuumi top, if he is intending to win etc.
Which I think is complete nonsense and completely dishonest, because Yummi as a champion is intentionally designed to not work on solo lanes. Thus you can never pick it with intention other than to ruin the game.
Are there people who really think, that picking Yuumi top is not complete troll and game ruining behaviour?

Hey! I just installing lol on linux (finally), has anybody tried it already? Is it working fine? How is the performance? I will edit the post after I tested it.
Edit1: Its working the fps is good, but not that smooth, overall its playable but not in ranked, I'm just playing custom game, and I just want to play tft.

Edit2: Its good for Aram too I think. But if riot could finally implement the newest Proton layer it could be sooo good. I don't understand why we need kernel anticheat while Mac users can play without it, or even the mobile users(TFT). Epic Games started pushing linux forward, with Fortnite release etc... lol is the only thing I need to dual boot my pc.

Basically, my team was behind in gold the entire game. We win one fight and suddenly the enemy team gets bounties bigger than our entire gold lead.
Meanwhile the only bounty my team got was a single 200g bounty on enemy top when they had almost 4k gold lead at 14 mins.
Does a 1225 gold lead justify a 1750 bounty?
imo it's a bit too punishing but curious what you guys think about the bounty system.

This took me a lot time of playing to do. Anyone dedicated to their junglin? Where do you spend your time in game?
r/LeagueUnfiltered • u/crabV0MIT • 10h ago
I know stats are assigned/ranks/tiers help define how hard something is to get, rare, etc. BUT that still subjective. Could analyze over and over... I am well aware of the third-party sites - is there official?
Also, what are "hardest or rarest"?

I am well aware how much of a conspiracy theory this is treated as, but regardless of them using it or not, Riot Games owns the rights to make behaviour based matchmaking systems in videogames, and that’s a fact. Paul ‘Yegg’ Sottosanti and Jeffery ‘Lyte’ Lin came up with the idea sometimes before September/October of 2017 because that’s when it was first submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
It doesn’t entirelly work as a concept how people assume it is possibly used right now, that’s clear from actually reading it, but proves that Riot has the tools and some kind of intent with similar systems.
I don’t have anything else to add, I’m just curious whether people are aware of this, and (reasonably) find it insufficient in itself to argue it could already be used, or are fully unaware.
Below are the links to the Google patent, and the links to the first 2017 application and the latest state of the document.

You can just look at lolaytics and sort M+ and look at patch history, but I feel like the same champs are just strong forever atp and so many others are just forgotten or simply inferior because of a lack of care for balancing. Imo, ideally all champs should be similar in strength with higher skill execution champs (which all classes/playstyles should have at least some of) being slightly stronger overall, but not to such an extent champs like Qiyana are getting 33% banrates with a 52-53% normalised winrate because they are blatantly OP.
The game has been in a stale and unbalanced state for a fucking while atp and with nothing about League Next and VC delayed shit is so boring. The least they could do is actually make an attempt at seeing all champs have some viability, of course variations in pickrate because of what players like will vary, but it is the same strong champs patch after patch. A lot of recent balance changes also seem to be asspulls for no reason, for example as a Darius main I think he was overall balanced if not a bit strong into melee comps and they just decide to buff him out of nowhere.
