How to I get them to go away or not appear? I rinse in hot water, exfoliate the day prior, use foam and a sharp razor…yet this is the result… 😭

Advice What womens shaver for face would you recommend ladies?

I am looking for a womens shave that is something gentle but can remove fine hair esp the hair on my upper lip and cheeks without living my skin irritated. Tried few methods before and ended up with redness or little bumps. Do you ladies have any recommendations for a facial shaver that gives good results and is easy to use? I'd love to hear about your experiences with different brands or models. Thanks so much!

best electric shaver for women that you'd actually recommend?

I've been thinking about switching to an electric shaver because shaving with a regular razor gets a bit annoying, especially when my skin feels irritated afterward. There are so many options out there and I'm honestly not sure which ones are worth trying. For those of you who've used electric shavers for a while, what's the best electric shaver for women in your experience, especially one that's gentle on sensitive skin and easy to clean?

I'd really appreciate any recommendations based on your own experience. Thanks!

Need a new razor... Help!

I a 35 y/o female. Have been using a Billy razor for the past 10 years. I love them. Or at least I used to. I could shave with no soap. Just the soap that was on the razor, don't judge me and I would get the smoothest shave ever. I would also get zero razor bumps. Now, I have found out that they have changed something or they sold the company and now their razors suck. I'm getting razor bums and it is no longer a smooth shave.

I'm looking into getting a new razor, but I am completely overwhelmed by the options.I also want to get into potentially getting a safety razor, but I think I'm going to leave that idea alone as that requires a delicate hand and time in the shower, which I don't always have when shaving.

So what I really try to do was narrow down all the options. My first option that I am considering is a flamingo razor. I was reading that they provide a smooth shave and they are a good affordable brand from Target. My next option was to get a Gillette Mach 3 Razor, as it only has three blades, and will provide a really close shave, which is honestly what I want.I just don't know if that one will yield razor bumps or not. Any recommendations or suggestions? What are your thoughts?

Question Sticky!!

So I’ve shaved on and off for years but I always end up not wanting to for months after until I forget about this... I cannot stand how everything sticks together when I’m completely shaven. How do you tolerate it? Do you just wear underwear all the time?
Or is it just me?

Mini body shavers: what earns them a spot in your bag—and what gets them left at home?

Hi everyone! I work in personal-care product development, and I’m researching what people actually need from a compact electric body shaver—not just what looks good on a feature list.

By “mini,” I mean a small, handheld electric shaver or trimmer for body hair, rather than a beard-only or facial peach-fuzz tool.

If you’ve used one, think back to the last time:

• Where were you, and what were you trying to get done?
• What worked well, and what—if anything—was awkward or frustrating?
• Did you do anything extra to get the result you wanted?

If you could change ONE thing about that experience, what would it be?

If you tried a mini shaver and stopped using it, I’d love to hear why. And if you’ve never wanted one, what do you use instead that works better for you?

No need to answer everything—a specific story is plenty. The model you used and your country would help with context, if you’re comfortable sharing. Please only share body-area details you’re comfortable posting publicly.

Thanks! This is product research, and your feedback may inform future product design.

Advice Legs still look like this after shaving no matter what I do

I bought a new safety razor and change the blade every shave. I've tried exfoliating at different times--first I tried alternating on the days I don't shave, then tried before and after shaving. Tried physical exfoliating in the shower and then chemical exfoliating with cerave rough and bump salicylic acid lotion after showering (on different days, not all at once). I make sure my legs are clean and rinsed with warm water before I start shaving, then use a moisturizing shaving cream. Use regular lotion on days I don't use the SA lotion. I still have to try glycolic acid or lactic acid but it's starting to get expensive.

Don't know if waxing will help because I got a bikini line wax 4 days ago and the area is still red and bumpy (worse than my legs in these pictures). Laser hair removal is wayyyyy out of budget. Im at a loss honestly.

So, I made a post before about razor burn and thank you for all the useful info it helped, but I was now wondering, how do yall get it so smooth, like I can’t for the life of me get it perfectly smooth, especially for the privates (I.e. dick and ass) I just can’t for the life of me get it smooth and like grr, also I can’t do professional waxing nor lazar hair removal for personal reasons.

Any advice is welcome :3

shaving there

i already posted this to another subreddit and then this one got suggested and thought i would post here too

hey gang, im 18 and i think its finally time i nail down how tf to shave down there. i tried a regular razor, i tried one specially for that area. no matter how i do it its still bleedy and itchy and i get red bumps and its annoying. recently ive been seeing a TON of ads on insta for electric razors for there but they’re all by differently named brands that seem to use the same videos to advertise their similar products and they’re all coincidentally on sale. i just want to know if there is either 1: a better way to shave and be smooth with a razor or a special sort of razor OR 2: a similar product to those electric razors but it is ACTUALLY reliable and not some tiktok shop stuff. please help thank u😔

Razors similar to Oui The People DE Safety Razor?

I have been using the Oui The People safety razor for years but this week it finally broke in half after I dropped it in the tub one last time 😭 I specifically loved that razor because not only did it give me the closest shave on my extremely sensitive skin, but also very easy to use for a safety razor. I feel like I didn't have to think too much about angles while shaving because of how they shaped the head of the razor. It's like the razor was doing all the work for me lol. The Henson AL13 looks very similar, but I'm kind of scared by what they mean by "an aggressive shave". Also looked at some of the Merkur razors but I can't figure out which type would work best for sensitive skin. Has anyone used the OTP razor and have recs for a good replacement?

Question What are your thoughts about a shaving cream that has some awesome ingredients that also reduce your hair growth with time? So you shave less frequently!
