LFG (Looking for GM) Title: [Online][5e][GMT+2][Fridays] Experienced Roleplayer Looking for Friday Game

• Upvotes

Hi, I am Illusion. I am an experienced roleplayer looking for a D&D game on Fridays.

  • Game System: D&D 5e (Familiar with both '14 and '24 rules)
  • Timezone: GMT+2 / CET (Available between 10:00 - 03:00)
  • Day/Time: Fridays
  • Platform: Discord (Voice only) & VTTs
  • Free games only.

About Me & My Playstyle:

  • Experience: 40+ years of tabletop RPG experience across various systems; the last 5+ years have been consistently online (1-2 games a week).
  • Age Preference: Mature groups preferred.
  • Tone/Setting: I prefer settings grounded in their own lore. I don't enjoy sci-fi mashups (like spaceship crashes or future robots) in high-fantasy worlds.
  • Preferences: Focus on roleplay over combat. My characters are typically down-to-earth; I enjoy making simple concepts like a beggar or a farmer stand out through roleplay.
  • Group Dynamics: Team player who makes space for everyone to be heard. I respect GM authority regarding homebrew and rule changes.

If you have an opening, please reach out to me here by sending a DM!

LFP (Looking for Players) [ONLINE][CET][D&D 5E24][30+] Lost Mines of Phandelver or Dragon of Icespire Peak

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to start a new online group to play D&D on the weekends, using the adventure module Lost Mines of Phandelver, Dragon of Icespire Peak, or a combination of the two.

My preference would be to play on Saturday evenings starting at 17:00 or 18:00 CET, but I can consider other timeslots from Saturday evening to Sunday afternoon.

The campaign is beginner friendly.
You don't need to be familiar with the setting or the system.
I can share content on D&D beyond for character creation and access to the player handbooks.

**About the Lost Mines of Phandelver adventure:**
In the city of Neverwinter, a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker asked you to bring a wagonload of provisions to the rough-and-tumble settlement of Phandalin, a couple of days' travel southeast of the city. Gundren was clearly excited and more than a little secretive about his reasons for the trip, saying only that he and his brothers had found "something big," and that he'd pay you ten gold pieces each for escorting his supplies safely to Barthen's Provisions, a trading post in Phandalin.

Alternatively, if you have already played Lost Mines, we can explore Dragon of Icespire Peak that takes place around Phandalin too.
The adventures run from level 1-5 or 1-7 and can be expanded upon to level 12 or 13.

Questions about preferences are included in the application form.

**What I am looking for in a group:**

\-         Beginner Friendly
\-         People who are 25+
\-         Comfortable playing in English
\-         Group with a maximum of 5 people (4 players, 1 GM)
\-         A safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where everyone can relax and have fun
\-         A weekly game on Saturday evenings
\- Camera optional, decent microphone required

**About me:**

My name is Leroy, 39 years old, and have been a DM for around 5 years.

When it comes to D&D, I like to use pre-made settings and modules to work from and collaborate with the players to create characters and weave their stories into the world.

Campaigns will usually have a roleplay and investigation focus, but I can enjoy a dungeon crawl every now and then too.

I am easy going, invite players to add to the story and the world and am always open to creative solutions to problems even if they are outside of the rules as written or homebrew changes to character options. As long as they are reasonable and within the expectations we have set as a group.

For VTT we will use D&D Beyond and FoundryVTT or D&D Beyond Maps.

**Applying for the game:**

I've created a short google form:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScdDXyONe-6rVyS_kbej1pkFWvPa0exuyZDYnsWiQ7nhhleJA/viewform?usp=dialog
I'll close it in a week or when there are enough applicants.

Looking forward to meet new people to play D&D with. Have a nice week.

LFG (Looking for GM) [Online] [EEST] [5e/Flexible] Just a Player Seeking to Play DnD again

Hey, been a few years since i dropped by this sub. Mostly been avoiding LFGs due to a couple bad experiences in the past. But after being DnD Starved for about a year now, i think im ready to roll those dice again.

So, most of my Experience is in playing the original 5e. Ive heard that they released a new one during my absense but havent looked too much into what that changed. Usually playing more Silly/Chaotic characters (Mostly Kobolds) in campaigns that arent werent really serious and more casual. And i am up for learning new systems, but be patient with me ; - ;

As said above kinda fell out of DnD for a couple years due to my last group disbanding after scheduling became an issue. Ive kept coming up with character concepts over the 2 years, which hasnt really helped the yearning in my soul XD

So... if anyone would be willing to have me, i would be grateful.

LFP (Looking for Players) [Quests From the Infinite Staircase] [DND 5e 2014] [Thursdays 17:30 - 20:30 BST] Need 1 more player

Hi all, I am Zack, a DM currently running the WOTC module Quests From the Infinite Staircase and 1 of my players has unfortunatly had to leave due to time constraints so I am looking for another to fill their place.

Currently, we have a party of 4. A rather strange and depressing fighter named Acheron, a good-hearted and wholesome Cleric named Will, a reckless and materialistic bard named Estebus and a Cautious and Sweet Psion named Norin (Psion is a homebrew class). Homebrew classes and races are welcome with permission from me as well. The party is currently around 15 sessions in and are level 4.

Regarding combat and roleplaying, this group is quite big on roleplaying however combat is not scarce. We like to have long party chats but some session can also be combat heavy

To set the scene:

Walking through the door in a location you never expected a door to be in, you arrive in a mystical cloudy realm. Paths and doors stretch, twist and turn in every way imaginable. You knew that there was supposedly a genie here who grants a wish you so desperatly need but you also know he doesn't give them out for free. These doors seem to open to all manners of places. A desert Ziggurat in one door and almost 30 feet away, another gateway leading to the snowy mountains. Who knows where this adventure will lead...

We use Roll20 for this campaign and then use Discord to communicate via voice. This campaign is going to be long term and run up to around level 14 or 15 but may run on for longer if everyone would like it to

Also due to my work shifts I run for 2 weeks then have 1 week when I am unable to run and it cycles like that.

If you are interested, please send me a message on discord and I will organise a small interview of sorts to get to know you!

My username is onetruegod0139_04652 and thanks for reading!!!

LFP (Looking for Players) [GMT+3][FL] Looking for players for an exploration focused game

Hello,

First of all, in the interest of saving your time, the possible schedule is:

Weekday: Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday (we'll decide on the exact day once there is a group)

Time: 19:00 GMT+3 (and going for around three hours)

I am interested in running a campaign using the Forbidden Lands rules.

I want to eventually run a campaign set in my own world, however, I will first be running the official Bitter Reach adventure.

My reasons are:

Getting some practical experience for the system, since I have not tried it before.

Screening players, to see whether we get along with each other or annoy each other.

LFP (Looking for Players) GOBLIN TOWN: The politics of chaos! Build and run your own town of goblins! Gather a hoard, cause mayhem, cast dark rituals, discover things deep in the earth, slay heroes, and work towards your master plan! [Online] [Other] [Roleplay-Heavy] [Sundays] [18:00 CET] [17:00 GMT] [12:00 EST]

PLEASE READ: YOU HAVE NOT BEEN REJECTED FROM THIS CAMPAIGN! We originally posted this several weeks ago with the intent of contacting players throughout September. Unfortunately, I (The GM) got injured and ended up needing surgery, which forced us to delay reaching out. By the time we were able to do so, the first few players we spoke to were no longer available, as they had moved on to other campaigns. Rather than check with every single person who filled out the survey, we will be posting this again throughout October.

NOTE: IF YOU HAVE ALREADY FILLED OUT THE SURVEY, YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO SO AGAIN. JUST PUT IN YOUR DISCORD HANDLE & NAME AND TURN IN A BLANK SURVEY TO INDICATE THAT YOU'RE STILL INTERESTED! We will find your original submission. Thank you!

Survey Link

The Original Post

Goblins are deeply flawed creatures, driven by base impulses. There are those, however, who are able to keep these impulses in check, rally others to their cause, and focus on a grander scheme. You play a group of various beings that, in understanding there is strength in numbers, have banded together to use your ill-gotten gains build a great goblin town. You gather a hoard, cause mayhem, cast dark rituals, and discover long forgotten things deep in the earth, all while working towards accomplishing your master plan.

This is a game about goblins using ill-gotten gains to build a town. You engage in complex politics, both within your town and outside it, forging alliances or bitter rivalries with the other factions of the region. You build traps and other defenses to keep the hoard you gather out of the hands of the greedy adventurers coming to steal it away.

However, you’re not just monsters randomly causing chaos and mayhem. Goblins come and go, but the town outlives them, binds them together, and gives them a purpose. You map it out in detail as it’s built, then breathe life into it through play with events like revelry, calamity, or facing off against adventurers who dare enter your land. Your town is the main character of this story.

Town Themes

Every town is built around a theme, determined by its central building, chosen together as a group. The theme gives you a set of buildings that you can build within it. The theme keeps players all on the same page thematically. The choice of town theme is a statement about what kind of things the players want to do in the game. You can choose from the following central buildings, which determine your theme:

Enclave: Tapping Into the Arcane. Choose this if you want your town to be mystical from top to bottom. Its core feature is its twisted landscape, corrupting the area surrounding your town. An Enclave lets you build the following: academy, crucible, greenery, library, potion lab, scrying pool, and spawning chamber.

Forge: The Power of Industry. Choose this if you want a town full of monstrous inventions and steampunk tech. Its core feature is its power source, boosting the productivity and defenses of your town. A Forge lets you build the following: alchemist lab, guild hall, factory, mineshaft, testing chamber, vehicle bay, and workshop.

Hideout: Keeping Your Head Low. Choose this if you want to work as a cohesive unit and manipulate the other factions of the region. Its core feature is agents of chaos, allowing you to strongly influence other factions. A Hideout lets you build the following: dojo, gambling den, gear locker, obstacle course, planning room, roost, and tavern.

Stronghold: Through Strength of Arms. Choose this if you want to face challenges with pure military might. Its core feature is warband, giving you a powerful minion that can raid the region. A Stronghold lets you build the following: barracks, bestiary, fighting pit, funeral pyre, smithy, war drums, and war room.

Temple: Serving a Greater Power. Choose this if you want to focus on a certain god and their domains. Its core feature is divine intervention, which you can use to cast a powerful spell from your god. A Temple lets you build the following: altar, antechamber, augury circle, dormitory, reliquary, penance chamber, scriptorium.

The Callings

When you create a character, you choose a calling, one of several paths that goblins follow:

The Brute: You’re called to battle and delight in facing down your enemies, chopping them to pieces in brutal combat. For you, the bloodier, the better. Your confidence with a weapon in hand manifests outside of combat when commanding others, bellowing orders like you expect them to be obeyed and bashing heads on the off chance they aren't.

The Conniver: You lurk in the background pulling the strings, laying out intricate plans, and having others do your bidding. For you, revenge is a dish best served cold. Methodical is an understatement. You’re in complete control at all times.

The Crafter: You spend hours in your workshop mixing together alchemical reagents and constructing dangerous devices with a gleeful disregard for your own safety. You strap up before you leave the town, well-prepared for any situation.

The Hunter: You’re at home running with the beasts of the forest. Relentlessly chasing down prey brings you closer to the animal inside of you. And yet, you're deliberate, never missing a sign, always on the trail. And when you finally corner your target, there’s no hesitation to finish it.

The Marauder: For you, battle is a dance. The thrill of outmaneuvering your enemies sends blood pumping through your veins. Your moves are precise and calculated and your awareness of the field of battle gives you the ability to see the bigger picture in other situations as well.

The Shadow: You're at home in the darkness, lurking unseen. You can slip into and out of areas unnoticed. The element of surprise is your greatest weapon and you can often find your way into and out of the trickiest of situations.

The Shaman: You understand the dark power of nature and are drawn to the hidden world of spirits. You might revere them and seek their favor, or perhaps enslave them for your own purposes. Either way, the spirits speak and you hear their mad whispers of vengeance.

The Warlock: You reach out and grab raw, arcane magic by its neck and bend it to your will. You dabble in dangerous arts and know that true power must be wrested away from others. A deep, unquenched thirst for power dwells inside of you.

The Zealot: You heed the words of your dark god. You believe in them fiercely, knowing that those who serve will be rewarded. The more believers you can recruit, the higher the chance your god will recognize you. They bestow power onto you, from which your intense conviction comes.

The Details

What We're Looking For: This is a roleplay heavy, story focused campaign for players looking to get in character, give their character a unique voice, explore their character's motivations, and give their character an arc.

Age: 21-9000.

Content Warnings: This campaign contains drug use, frightening elements, grim humor, strong language, violence, and lawyers.

Day: Sundays

Frequency: 2 sessions per month

Location: We'll be playing online using Discord and Owlbear Rodeo. We're new to OR, so if you have experience with that, we may have a lot of questions for you.

New Start Date: November 2026

System: The game we're playing is called Wicked Ones, which is a simple, story-focused system. You don't need to be familiar with this system as we'll be teaching as we play.

Size: Our plan is to have 5 total players.

Time: We'll be playing at 18:00 CET / 17:00 GMT / 12:00 EST / Whatever time that is where you live.

If you're interested, fill out the survey here. If you're selected, The next step will be to schedule a 15-30 minute discord call with our GM to get to know you.

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online] [House] [One-Shot] [BST] Goodbye My Love: The Rig – Cinematic Attrition Horror (Rules-light, 0 Prep)

Game System: Goodbye My Love (Original rules-light system, taught in 3 minutes at the table)

Scenario: The Rig (Cinematic survival horror / pulpy body horror)

Date & Time: 22nd October 9pm BST + 23rd October 9pm BST

Length: Single session, approx. 2.5 to 3 hours

Platform: Discord Voice (theatre of the mind)

Open Seats: 4 players 22nd

Content Warnings: Claustrophobia, severe bodily horror/corruption, inevitable character death

You are part of a misfit crew trapped on a rusting offshore drilling platform in the middle of an almighty storm. The rig is being actively pulled apart by a colossal deep-sea entity, while an aggressive parasitic outbreak turns the deceased crew into twitching, tentacled horrors. Surviving is will take teamwork, wits and luck. Escaping is your characters goal, but yours as a player is to answer one question: What is worth dying for?

The game runs on a dice attrition pool. You start the session with a standard set of polyhedral dice (d4 through d20), and every roll you make permanently burns a die from your sheet. No situational modifiers, tables, or maths. Reaching zero resources doesn't knock you out of the session; it primes you for a final, blaze-of-glory Heroic Action.

The game is completely beginner-friendly, and zero prior knowledge of the system is required. Pre-generated character roles (The Welder, Scientist, PMC, Protester, CEO, Reporter) and RP hooks are provided to get us straight into the action.

LFP (Looking for Players) Seeking Players for an Atmospheric Low-Fantasy Mutli-shot Adventure [Online][Fate][Weekly: Saturdays 7-10pm UTC+2][Homebrew Setting]

Hi!

I'm Nick (he/him) and I am looking for players to join me for an atmospheric adventure (6 sessions max) with lots of roleplay and exploration within a homebrew setting.

Here is the pitch: If you are looking for a palate cleaner or an interim before your next big dnd campaign, maybe a break from DMing or high-fantasy, then this is the game for you. Novel system, novel setting, chiller atmosphere and an environment to experiment with character ideas or themes you haven't yet been able to.

Practicalities:

We are going to be using Discord for voice chat and Owlbear Rodeo for character sheets and vtt. Please have a decent mic and internet connection! Consistency is key too, since this is a smaller campaign, I prefer it doesn't drag on or continue without a player. Lastly, this should be a given, I won't tolerate any type of bigotry or unkindly behaviour.

System:

Now, unless this post pulls all the Fate veterans, most of you wouldn't have had any experience with the system. This is not a problem, Fate is a simple system and the way I run it is even simpler. We will go over the rules and you will expect nothing but patience and understanding from me and the other players. I chose Fate because I think it fits better to shorter adventures and it is easier to bend to fit the setting (than let's say DnD).

Setting:

The setting is vaguely European-Mediterranean late medieval. For lack of a better term it is also low-fantasy, without that meaning dark or gritty necessarily. The adventure will take place almost exclusively on the island of Bulwark.

Bulwark is a lone island 3 days south of the Mainland. A settlement of the same name exists on top of it. Despite it's location, Bulwark is not some backwater, frontier, lawless camp-town. Even though not as big or impressive as some cities of the mainland, the settlement boasts an intelligent layout, competent architecture and ancient walls.

Bulwark has two main attractions, the first being it's distance. The second is the fighting tournaments it hosts. Men and women sign-up to fight for money or recognition. Every couple of years it hosts the so-called "Small Tourney"; a brackets style tournament with grand rewards. The contestants are just announced, they don't sign up themselves. The selection process is unknown. Participation is optional, even if your name is announced, but competing is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

The PCs:

Your Characters will be finding themselves on the island during the Small Tourney "season". I would like also to give reign over aspects of the setting to each player to expand or define, based on the character that they would have created. I also like to cater the story to my players. So much so, that the "main plot" will be created in parallel to character creation.

Expect a mainly character-centric approach and lots of roleplay. The end goal is fun. If the scale, atmosphere and/or premise pique your interest feel out this form and I will get back to you. :)

LFP (Looking for Players) Intrigue, agony and impossible choices await in Etharis [5e 2014] [GMT] [online]

I am reopening this advert again to seek a new player for my Etharis campaign. I’ve been so lucky to run thus far for an incredible party. Having just reached the thirty sixth session milestone This campaign is operating off a rewrite of the existing Grimhollow module. Due to scheduling issues with previous replacements we are eager to find our fourth player, having not yet found a player from my previous recruitment.

Etharis is a campaign about duty after faith has failed, heroism without salvation, and choosing who must survive when the gods are already dead.

The rise of the Burach Empire was heralded by a theocracy as magnificent in power as it was ruthless in its capacity to colonise rival pantheons. Ruled by a dynastic line said to descend from the Burach gods themselves, the Empire stretched to the edges of Etharis, rivalled only by the sunless, godless realm of Ostoya. Its southern borders pressed against the elven kingdom of the Chernault; its northern marches strained against the rabid Valikan clans.

Then, without warning, the gods fell.

Seraphic hosts were torn from the sky and died in the mortal muds. The cause of this catastrophe is a closely guarded secret, known only to the highest ranks of the Burach clergy. What is known is this: the Empire did not break cleanly. It staggered, fractured, and spiralled into cascading crises that still threaten to tear it apart years later.

And worse still looms.

Along the Ostoyan–Burach border, an unceasing army of the dead rises — unkillable, relentless, consuming everything it touches. Arcanists gorge themselves on the essence of fallen seraphs, fuelling grotesque ambitions with divine blood. And beyond even this horror, something vast and unfathomable stirs, a threat that no divided people can hope to face.

This is a world devouring itself from within as surely as it is besieged from without. Each land is a new crisis. Each victory carries its own cost. Zealous churchmen fight back-to-back with criminals and outcasts to claw back inches of ground. Faith is fractured. Power is suspect. Survival is never clean.

If you want a campaign where:

• politics, theology, and warfare collide

• choices have consequences that linger

• grimness exists to make rare victories meaningful

• and “good” means protecting others in impossible circumstances

then this may be the game for you.

⸻

Player Expectations

I am looking for a motivated, attentive, and engaged player who enjoy investigation, scheming, roleplay, and difficult moral decisions. Characters will be expected to take risks, act decisively, and accept that survival is never guaranteed.

There are no set class requirements for a new player barring the restriction of arcane classes that has applied across the entire span of the campaign. Etharis is a campaign where character comes before mechanical optimisation.

Characters in Etharis are built from the world outward, rather than imported into it. Your character should emerge from a nation, faith, institution, household or other social structure that has formed their beliefs, obligations and place in society. Institutions are not simply factions to join, employers to rebel against, or obstacles to individual freedom: they are a major part of how people understand themselves and acquire authority in this setting. I am much more interested in what your character believes, whom they owe, and why than in a predetermined class, build or fantasy archetype

Please do not arrive with a predetermined build or character archetype. Character creation will begin with the setting: where your character comes from, which institutions formed them, what they believe, what they owe, and what claims others legitimately have upon them. Class and mechanics follow from that character

For the right player, Etharis promises a vast wealth of intrigue, adventure, moral conflict and tense choices.

• Players must be 21+

• Good-aligned characters only (not flawless, but fundamentally protective rather than exploitative)

• LGBT+ players are supported and welcome

• This is a roleplay-forward, consequence-driven campaign

⸻

Content & Safety

This campaign will respectfully explore dark themes including:

• fantasy ethnic conflict and bigotry

• religious and political extremism

• profane rituals and human sacrifice

• the horrors of war and occupation

• corruption of authority and systems of power

There will be no sexual content of any kind at the table. No tolerance for out-of-game abuse, extremism, or bullying. Player wellbeing comes first: concerns can be raised at any time, and sessions will end with a brief check-in.

⸻

Class Restriction

Due to the metaphysics of the setting and past experience, arcane classes are not playable in this campaign. This is a deliberate design choice made to preserve coherence, tone, and meaningful tension within Etharis.

⸻

Practical Details

• System: D&D 5e (Grimhollow setting)

• Platform: Discord + Roll20

• Schedule: Wednesdays, 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM GMT

If you’re interested in stepping into a world where there are no perfect solutions — only people doing their best amid collapse — feel free to message me.

I love playing and love rp, 50/50 rp to combat is my preferred but happy for anything other. I just want to be part of a group who enjoy playing, having a laugh and jointly caring about each others characters. Please help!

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][Other][Amber/Homebrew][GMT/BST][Campaign][Discord]Looking for players for campaign

Shadow is fractured, broken into islands which make traversal outside of their borders mostly impossible. Nobody knows exactly why, but it might have something to do with what happened to the Pattern.

As a starting player these terms are potentially either completely unknown or completely meaningless. Your main concearn is staying below the radar, appearing to be no different than your peers and avoiding attracting unwanted attention from the authorities about what you can already do.

Then there is the mystery VIP invite to the Tech Expo, apparently delivered in person by somebody who leaves no trace and trips no alarms. What's more it was contained within parchment folded to form an envelope and sealed with wax. Who does that any more, and who writes in ink for that matter.

I've been trying to assemble a group of players (between 4 and 6) interested in an Amber Campaign for far too long without much success.

The campaign will be a re-run of my "Adventures In RolePlay"(AiRP) campaign, which is designed as Co-Op introduction to both Amber and diceless RPGs.

In many respects knowing nothing about Amber helps - you'll learn everything you need to know as both a character and player as the games progresses. If you do know Amber don't assume that anything you know is correct.

The campaign at the start is about finding out who you really are (why you are different and can do the things you can do), who your cousins, aunts, uncles, and others are, and what the True Reality of Shadow is, which has nothing to do with the version of Earth you grew up on.

None of the players know anything about one another at the start, much like if you went to a conference for the first time and walked into a 'class' with 12 other complete strangers present.

As a character you'll learn 'on the job' so to speak. As you learn, both as a character and a player so the restraints will come off until what potentially happens is completely down to you as characters and players.

My preference is to run online using Discord on Thursday evenings(GMT/BST) from 8pm till 10:30pm but will consider Friday/Sunday evenings as an alternative.

I do need between 5 and 7 players for the campaign to work. It's tight with 5 players in terms of what you can do concurrently, which means that you'll have to do somethings serially. Having 6 players makes your ability as characters to get things done concurrently much easier, but that does depend on which starting power you pick which I don't constrain.

I have previously run this campaign via Discord with a different group and also as PBP campaign on RPGCrossing and RPoL(both games died due to IRL issues causing players to drop out, but it also doesn't work at all well in this format).

To play you just need to know how to play a character and not a set of stats on a character sheet (they have meaning, mostly to me as the GM). For example, althougn not specifically relavent to Amber, you're not playing "Joe the Dwarf Fighter", you'd be playing Joe, who grew up in the Swarveck Mountains, whose father was a Blacksmith and whose mother was a Seamstress, who has 1 older brother and 2 younger sisters, who like all the young males in the town was taught to use a shortsword and hammer from the age of 10, worked in his fathers forge for 20 years, and now at the age of 30 has decided to venture out into the world and explore what it has to offer for a few years before potentially returning home, richer for his experiences, to settle down, possibly with Mellissa - if she'll have him.

Also no "hack and slash" or "power gamers" as you won't enjoy it. Whilst there will be some combat on some occasions, my Amber campaigns are more about problem solving and character development/interaction than anything else.

Campaign details, background on Characters in Amber, Amber as an RPG, and the Amber rules I use are on my website www.azer.co.uk/amber/amber.html

LFG (Looking for GM) [Online][UESTRPG/D&D 5e 2014][Free][18+][Queer][No AI][BST/GMT][Free any day except Saturdays] Looking for a game set in the Elder Scrolls world!

Hi! If you’re reading this, please double check the title! I’m a player looking for a group, not a DM running this!

I just wanted to do a general poke around to see if anyone was planning to or interested in running a game set in the Elder Scrolls universe! I’m a massive fan of the world, I’ve played multiple of the games and I listen to the lore quite frequently, plus I have many OCs that I like to draw from it!

I’d really like to play a game set in the world! Either using the Elder Scrolls TTRPG I’ve seen, or modified D&D 5E is fine too since I’ve seen people use that! I have a preference for the former though cuz I love poking at new systems!

My name is Attie (They/Them), I’m 23, Scottish, I love drawing, hate AI, I try my best to make new friends in groups - my fave part about TTRPGs is definitely creating a character with a deep backstory to get invested in!!! Roleplay is my favourite!!! :D

So far I’ve also found 2 others interested! Ty for reading!

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][5E][2014][EET][Campaign] Beyond the Mist

I am still working on the idea and the necessary details for the campaign. But starting to look for potentially suitable players beforehand.

The story/concept of the campaign:

Off the coast of New Oldton a strange mist has appeared. Visible from the docks it initially seemed like a weird weather anomaly that seemed like a great topic to discuss at the local bar. But nothing more.

But the mist was there days later, a week. A month. This is when the locals started to feel uneasy about it suddenly appearing.
It seemed harmless. It was harmless.

Until someone tried to sail into the mist. They never returned. But strange things started happening. Rare flashes or light from whatever the mist was covering. Some say they saw an island with a mountain through the mist. Some claim that they saw a large tower in the middle of the island.

Many stories were spread - each different from the other. And these didn't come from those that were considered a bit odd among the townsfolk. Regular people, bakers, smiths, dockworkers, fishermen. But their stories of what they had seen in the mist were almost always different.

Now a stranger from out of town seems to be recruiting heroes and adventurers to head an expedition through the mist. A death sentence - or an adventure waiting to happen? Well, the common folk will not be signing up for the journey.
But adventurers like you?...

Looking for players for a homebrew 5E campaign. Accepting all players, regardless of whether it would be your first game ever or with prior experience.

If interested, please apply here: https://groupfinder.gg/list/beyond-the-mist-b9bc603299

Closed [GMT+1][5E or 5E24][Online][German] 24F Looking for a chill group!

Hello,
My name is Stefanie I am 24 F living in Germany. I play DnD 5e since about a year ago and I really want to play again. I love rp'ing and getting in character. I like the story aspect of the game the most. But socializing with other nerds and meeting a new group of friends to hang out with is definitely the most fun about DnD!

I work as a nurse so sometimes my shifts get in the way of DnD but I'll try my best to be available each session and be on time but sometimes work gets in the way I hope that's okay.

My English is not the best so a game in German would be perfect. This post is in English as I don't know if its allowed to post in other languages on this sub (also this post was made and translated by my hubby :3)

LFG (Looking for GM) [GMT] [5E or 5E24][Online] 3 players looking for a DM

Well hello there, we are 3 players (Scotland, Germany and the US) looking for a DM. We have been playing together in one game for about 3 months but sadly the DM had to step back from the game for personal reasons. We all enjoyed each other's roleplay and want to keep the group running.

Our previous experience playing DnD together means you are getting 3 players who know each other, with no issues or potential drama. We support our fellow players and the DM we work with. Strong emphasis on roleplay and character building.

We are looking for a DM who would ideally place some focus on character backstory and incorporating that into the main tale. We all currently have Saturday evening free, so ideally 5-10pm (or there abouts) GMT. We are fine with homebrew, official module or any mix. Dnd 2014/2024 preferred. We currently use Discord for chat and voice and are all familiar with Roll20/Forge, plus DnD beyond with the browser extension that lets you roll from your sheet to Rol20.

We'd love to hear from you.

LFP (Looking for Players) [5e 2014][Wednesday or Friday, 8:00pm UTC+3][25+][Roleplay-Heavy][Mature/Dark themes][LGBTQ+/BIPOC friendly] Looking for one player to join our ongoing homebrew Long-term campaign set in the world of Drakkenheim

“Alright, lean in, and allow me to set the table for ya. Every person who came to me through that door is lookin’ for somethin’, and those ambitions will either be your greatest achievement or the biggest mistake of your life.

After the meteor fell, Drakkenheim went up in smoke, and Westemär’s been left with no capital and a corpse on the throne with no heir around. Now it’s a rotten playground for the worst kind of people, where greedy nobles and centuries-old edicts dictate the law.

Everybody’s come flockin’ like moths to a flame to this city. The nobles froth at the mouth for the crown. The Amethyst Academy mages wanna study Delerium like it’s the next big breakthrough while the The Church of the Sacred Flame wanna destroy it. Dustheads snort Delerium and decorate the side walk, drugging themselves to a new dimension of reality. And the ones whose minds the city cracked swear they’ve seen the corpses of Old Gods swayin’ in the sky, havin' hung themselves and abandoned this world entirely and left us to die.

Every shadow is inhabited by something that sound like the people you hold dear. Something in the dark alley once kept asking me for a cigarette. A piece of advice kid, never follow the voices. Keep pretending they aren’t there and maybe you’ll make it through another day in this hellhole.

Ah, Drakkenheim, the city that has everyone obsessed, beckoning them and promising all kinds of rewards only to swallow every brave soul and spit them out as psychotic madmen. What a wonderful world we live in, am i right?

So, whadya say, ya in or ya out?"

- Blackjack Mel

Hello! My name’s Connie (she/her, 31F), and I’ll be your DM for this dark adventure. :)

We’re a group of chill and laid-back folks in our 30s looking to add a fifth adventurer to the party. One of our friends and players had to step away to focus on their mental health, and we’re hoping to have him back once he’s feeling better. In the meantime, we’d love to welcome a 5th player to the table. We value roleplay and great story-telling from everyone at the table. We balance between the dark themes and lighthearted sessions since not everything is doom and gloom all the time. We like to have a laugh every now and then! As a Dm i focus a lot on character and their backstories and try to weave them into the main plot. Player decisions WILL have outcomes good or bad, dependent on you. Want to sabotage a faction's plan? Go ahead but they will be pissed off and come for you. Want to try your hand at romance? Every NPC or PC are different so goodluck!

⬩➤ About the Campaign:

⟡ Time: Wednesday or Friday, 8:00pm UTC+3 / 4-5 hour session
⟡ VTT: Foundry VTT
⟡ Requirements: Discord for Voice calls / Stable internet / PC able to handle Foundry VTT
⟡ Themes: Balance between serious and lighthearted sessions / Faction Politics / Horror / Dark Fantasy / Urban Adventure / Post-Apocalyptic / Exploration
⟡ Playstyle: 60/40 ratio for Roleplay/Combat
⟡ Campaign will go up to level 13

DRAKKENHEIM IS NO MORE. An eldritch storm of falling stars devastated the city on that woeful eve, leaving behind a meteorite that would have lasting effects. Fifteen years later, Drakkenheim is a dismal urban wasteland contaminated by otherworldly magic and haunted by hideous monsters. Fantastic wealth, lost knowledge, and powerful artifacts lie ready for the taking by adventurers brave or foolish enough to venture into the ruins. However, even those who survive the dangers of Drakkenheim may not return unmarked by its terrors!

⬩➤ Party Composition:

⟡ 5th Level Party of 4 currently (Good to neutral aligned so no evil pcs or lone wolves):

- Agnus (Barbarian) played by Tim (He/Him)
- Scarlett (Druid) played by Tassia (She/Her)
- Melira (Sorcerer) played by Blythe (They/Them)
- Peony (Warlock) played by our friend who's currently on break for a while.

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️

This campaign is NOT for the faint of heart. This campaign portrays a dark/corrupted world. It features Mature, dark and rather heavy themes (handled with care). If you feel like you cannot handle any of these, please prioritize yourself and your mental health first. There are many great campaigns out there that are much easier to stomach.

Below are things you can run into throughout the campaign:

- Mentions of suicide, gaslighting, severe power imbalance, drug use, addiction.
- Violence, murder, blood, gore, cannibalism, and body horror.
- Degenerative mutations that cause physical disfigurement and madness/insanity.
- Rats, spiders, insects, demons, undead, ghosts, and other monsters.
- Natural disasters, large-scale loss of life, civil war, displaced persons, and refugees.
- Moral ambiguity, social/political manipulation, religious zealotry and military nationalism.

The campaign DOES NOT contain the following:

- Explicit sexuality, sexual assault, racial prejudice, systemic racism, homophobia, or transphobia. Any inferences to such are wholly unintentional.

If you'd love to join us, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/Mkzb37eae4ZHdJRE8
