My dad absolutely loves rollercoasters but his hip mobility requires him to ride a scooter through amusement parks, we went to Disney a few years ago and because he rented a scooter they gave him the fast pass for most rides, does it work that way at knotts too? Asking for him thank you!

Looking into upgrading from Gold to Prestige for 27'. Do the 2 bring a friend passes count in 26' then refresh in 27' for a total of 4 or is it 2 only per season pass? Just curious since I've heard the 27' meal plans override the 26' plan. Thanks in advance.

Hi folks! First timer here to Knotts Scary Farm and Knotts Berry farm in general! Super stoked to take it all in 👻😏💫

We’re going on Saturday October 24th (was originally going on Thursday the 22nd but an emergency came up and had to change the plans) for my 31st birthday with my partner. Because of all the last minute changes and us going to Oogie Boogie Bash the next day, our funds have been drained so that we couldn’t get an additional Fast Lane on top of it and the Boofet is sold out.

I know from my research that Saturdays tend to be the busiest night already, so I was wondering if there are any tips and tricks to make this first experience as enjoyable as possible? We’re both Disney connoisseurs and have experiences in theme parks in general, so I’m happy to maximize things and go for as many rides and houses if such a thing is possible without early entry or fast pass, but I’m also happy to just adjust my expectations accordingly if thats just the reality.

2. How does it work when you're already in the park and have tix for Scary Farm? Is it like a Disneyland style event where you can check in and get a wrist band, or do you have to exit and come back in?

I live in NorCal and my boyfriend lives in SoCal so we have decided for our 2 year anniversary we would meet up down there and go to Knotts Scary Farm on Halloween night. I’ve looked at some other threads and people have been saying it’s pretty dead at Knotts Scary Farm on Halloween, but I’m wondering if it will be different this year since Halloween falls on Saturday. Since I live in Northern California, I don’t visit amusement parks down there often and I’m unsure of how packed Knotts can get?

Awesome experience as the last rider on Ghostrider! (at least before scary farm) I feel like there’s more love and length put into this ride than most other wooden roller coasters. It seems to go on forever in such a tight space lol

Family and I went on it this morning. Brakes went out and we went back and forth through the station till it stopped completely. We stopped by the loop side after 4 times and waited for the maintenance crew to come in and back us up.

My gf and I got tickets for this upcoming Thursday for scary farm. I haven’t been to it since 2023 and I miss it. Im afraid that the entire park is gonna shut down but its probably me overthinking. Just wanted to know what its like on a rainy day.

With 3 back to back incidents across the chain (X2, Goliath (OG), and Millenium Force), I'm praying no incidents happen at Knott's this year. There was Xcelerator's big accident about 15 years ago and Perilous Plunge's accident in the early 2000s, so let's hope nothing happens this year

What’s the plan? So many strollers with kids dressed in full costume heading into a busy park for at most 90 minutes. Is it the meal plans?

Employee here, as it gets closer to Halloween just a reminder that it does get incredibly busy and crowded inside the park. Be prepared for long wait times if you do not have fright and fast lane.

Speaking of which, a super friendly reminder that fight and fast lane DOES NOT include admission 😭😭 to many people yelling at us when it literally warns you when buying the add-on. Please be careful !! And stay safe and have fun !!

Is it worth it? We’re going during Christmas break this year (Monday after Christmas) and I’m wondering how much time it actually saves you from waiting in long lines? I have an impatient 11 year old that hates waiting in long lines so I wanted to see others experiences with it!

Just got to Scary Farm this year I got early access but I still saw people coming in from the front gate early and no ropes to block access to the rest of the park. There wasn't even really a pre show Just an audio recording has it been like that since it started this year?

just a vent i guess. i get so disheartened every time i walk into one of the stores- especially with scary farm going on, and see all the AI bullshit.

it’s so sloppy and disappointing. they really want to pay creatives nothing, and shovel us garbage.

I saw someone posted yesterday that the park was busy...this picture was taken at 11:30am. I've never seen the park so dead. Literally walked right onto every ride, even Log Ride, which always has a line. Arrived 10am and was out by noon. Great day! Guess it just goes to show....always arrive early!

The last time I went to Knotts was 12/30/25 and it was insanely crowded. It took approx 1.5 hours from the time we exited the 5 fwy to the time we finally parked. Beach blvd was bumper to bumper and all cars had to go down to Crescent, then turn right into Western and park in the overflow lot on the left, and enter Knotts from the back entrance. I’m planning to go again Friday 10/30 (during the day) and hoping it will be much less crowded.

On a normal crowd day what is the parking situation? Because we were in so much traffic the first time and they made everyone go up to Crescent I couldn’t even figure out where the normal parking is. I do have a Prestige Six Flags MM pass which should get free standard parking but after the headache of last time I’m willing to pay to park somewhere easier. Thanks in advance!
