I'm a film student, and they asked if anyone knew what a per diem was, and I remember reading about the lyric from HUMBLE. on Genius

So, yeah, Kendrick is educational 😤

March 2027?

Is it still too soon to say GNX might be Kendrick’s best album from a purely sonic standpoint?

Not necessarily saying it’s his best album lyrically or conceptually, but in terms of production, beats, overall sound, and replay value, I honestly think there’s an argument to be made.

I know GKMC, TPAB, and DAMN are usually the go to picks for the core fan base, but sonically, GNX might be my favorite of his discography.

Am I tripping, or does anybody else feel the same way?

I wanted this specific version as i prefer the track list in this order.

I was listening to Kendrick's whole albums in order, and I noticed that since they're concept albums, there is always some kind of 'tension release' song from the narrative and story telling wound into each project, and each of them is necessary to bring closure to it.

Section.80: Blow My High
GKMC: Real
TPAB: i
DAMN.: GOD.
MMATBS: Mirror

What song in GNX fits this role? I would say mostly gloria.
But GNX is such a standout album in Kendrick's discography, as the concept is very hard to grasp to me. Like, I see the current theme of reincarnation, but it's not a proper story, developing song by song like the other albums.

To me it's either gloria or heart pt.6

But again, I think the most correct interpretation is that there isn't any since GNX is so different from his other albums

Does anyone have some deeper insight I'm missing?

If Kendrick is Jay, who would be the kanye for WTT in 2026/2027. Obvious answer is Keem, but I feel like Keem
Is dot’s apprentice, when WTT was being made Kanye was as big if not bigger than Jay and just as revered as hip hop artists go.

I don't know if this will be allowed on the sub but worth a try, I've spent the last couple of months looking for the hoodie variant of this t shirt and I've only found sizes too small. Does anybody have this hoodie in a XXL that they're willing to part with, for the right price I'll buy it from you

This is disgusting.

For some added context. Marsha blackburn is a senator from Tennessee who is currently running for governor. She is mostly funded by IAPAC and donors from Georgia, where she lives (yes. she's running for governor of Tennessee). In other ads she's seen crushing fortune cookies with her fists at an Asian restaurant as a stance on immigration.

She recently supported the new gerrymandered maps here in Tennessee that mostly silences Memphis's vote. Memphis is a rare blue in a sea of red Tennessee. If you don't know, Memphis is the largest black majority city in the country, and truly has one of the most unique and beautiful cultures that I've ever experienced. Memphis is currently under the vise grip of Musks "Colossus" data centers that power Space xAI (grok) and these data centers are incredibly loud and dumping pollution into the poorest of neighborhoods here, reeking havoc on resident's health.

The fact that this openly racist candidate can simultaneously be an active part of the movement to destroy people of color in her "home state", steal direct content from one of the era's biggest voices for people of color, AND elect to not pay an actual artist to come up with her advertising, is utterly deplorable.

She refuses to debate the other candidates, and has virtually no campaign policy other that "blah immigration, blah TRUMP"

Polymarket currently shows her having a 93% chance of becoming Tennessee's next governor.

"Backpedaling Christians settling for forgiveness. Evidence all around us, the town is covered in fishes"

I have autism, and high-frequency sounds hurt my ears, so I could never listen to the original. Eventually, I got into the song and solved the shrill/harsh top-end of the frequency spectrum.

If you don’t know MackWop is close to TDE and ScHoolboy Q’s DJ.

A demo, in neighborhood terms is a demonstration, an exhibition of force. Think Will Smith slappin’ Chris Rock at the Grammys. Doing something that SHOWS you not playing, that you’re serious.

And then a timer … when will this happen?
