Tell me your favorite 2026 released kpop song and I will rate them

We know sometimes biases can take up to years (or even never) before forming, and can be wrecked multiple or changed multiple times.

But sometimes there’s that type.

A member you saw for the first time and you were like, yea that’s my bias right there lol, the rest of the group stands no chance. (Zero hate to the other members of course)

Personally, an example for me is The8 from Seventeen.

Saw their Super performance once and was like, yea that’s my bias.

Hey everyone, NMIXX is back today with a new mini album I’ve been curious about. I remember liking Heavy Serenade, which I've had on repeat since earlier this year. I’m curious to see what sound they will be going for and what the unit songs will sound like. Now let’s jump into this new mini album and see what the group has delivered.

╰──────༺♡༻──────╯

Strange Muse - NMIXX

1. 긴 소원 (Birthday Wish)

The title track 긴 소원 (Birthday Wish) opens up the album, bringing in synths and a thumping vibe that blend with the smooth vocals that the members deliver to the table. The thumping chorus has been growing on me with each listen, but I will say it’s not the best hook from the group. The members still put on a great performance that blends with the overall vibe the producers are bringing to the table. I do wish the title track was a bit stronger cause it feels like it’s lacking that spark that a lot of NMIXX titles deliver. I still think this is a great song from the group, but it feels more like a B-side than a title track. I still think the song does a great job opening up the project.

1. Kerosene

Kerosene is the second song on the album, feeling more like a title track than Birthday Wish. I do like the groove and the melody that the instrumental brings to the table, which does a great job pulling me in. The members once again put on a performance that fits with the vibe delivered. The hook has been growing on me, but the more I hear it, the more I start to like it than before. The rapping is pretty smooth, fitting the vibe during the second verse. The bridge is another section I’ve been enjoying, as it adds to the vibe. I wish they picked Kerosene as the title cause it’s much stronger.

1. RudE TaLK

RudE TaLK is the last group song before the unit tunes. I like the synths that craft a thumping vibe that has been pulling me back a lot today. The sweet vocals are something that blend with the melody that has been getting stuck in my head. The hook has some vocal effects in it, which I didn’t like at first, but now I’m loving it a lot. The verses are sweet, while the hook is more gritty in its delivery. I still think a few more listens will help this song grow on me more than it has been.

1. 너는 달 (LILY & HAEWON)

Lily and Haewon deliver the first unit song on the project as they helped co-write the lyrics. The whole track goes for a piano ballad, letting the members' vocals shine. I found the piano beautiful, as it matched the emotion that the two singers were bringing to the table. The soft delivery of the vocals is something that I found a bit relaxing during my listen. I know there will be people complaining that this piano ballad is boring or generic, which I can agree with to some degree, but I found this ballad to bring a tenderness to the table. Haewon and Lily get to showcase how terrific they are as vocalists. I might not be an expert on singing, but it takes a lot of talent to be able to sing with just a piano accompanying you.

1. Hot 'n Unbothered (SULLYOON & BAE)

Sullyoon & Bae deliver the second unit track with a more upbeat piece. The instrumental goes for this reggaeton/afro-pop sound, which I didn’t expect from this unit. I do like the vocals from the two singers, as they fit together. Bae actually sounds fantastic, as she fits this style of music. The instrumental crafts a melody that keeps making the tune better than before. The only thing I wish is that the song would be longer, as it feels like it needs more time to let the instrumental grow. I do think this will be a unit track that will grow on me a lot.

●❯────────｢⊙｣────────❮●

1. 휙 (JIWOO & KYUJIN)

The closing song on the album features Jiwoo and Kyujin teaming up. I was impressed by the yodeling that the two brought to their vocals. I found that it added to the track before the hook came into play. I do think the chorus is a bit repetitive for my liking, but I still don’t mind it. Jiwoo’s rap in the second verse hits hard as it blends perfectly with the overall vibe. I do wish the song was longer cause it has a great performance that keeps things moving for a long time. I also wish we got a solo moment from Kyujin cause that would’ve been nice to hear.

╭──────༺♡༻──────╮

Summary: NMIXX is back with a new mini album that is growing on me with each listen. The title track Birthday Wish feels more like a B-side, and I wish they picked Kerosene as the title instead. It was pretty dope to hear unit songs from NMIXX, which all have their own color to them. Lily and Haewon deliver a piano ballad that might be my favorite, as it lets the vocals shine and brings a tenderness to the project. I’m curious to see if I’ll be coming back to this album a couple of months from now.

Invincible Youth was a KBS2 variety show that ran from 2009-2010 and season 2 from 2011-2012. It featured members of popular girl groups living and working together in farming villages to learn how to be self sufficient.

Season 1 featured Sunny and Yuri from Girls’ Generation, Hara from KARA, Narsha from Brown Eyed Girls, Hyuna from 4minute, Sunhwa from Secret, Hyomin from T-ara, and later Victoria from f(x), Jooyeon from After School, and soloist Kim Sori. It also featured comedian Kim Shinyoung, 1st gen idol Kim Taewoo from g.o.d, and actor Noh Joohyun.

Season 2 featured the return of Sunny as well as Hyoyeon from Girls’ Generation, Suzy from miss A, Woori from Rainbow, Amber from f(x), Yewon from Jewelry, Jiyoung from KARA, and Bora from Sistar.

The reason the show was able to last so long was because the groups weren’t doing a ton of international travel yet. They were mostly domestic, so they could commit a whole day every single week to traveling to the countryside to film. In order to pull the show off today, they would have to cast girls from groups that aren’t doing a lot of international promotion.

With that in mind, who would you cast for a reboot of Invincible Youth? Is there an underrated idol with the comedy chops to keep up with heavy hitter comedians, like Sunny could? Or is there someone from the countryside who could teach the girls a thing or two about rural life? Or maybe an idol from another country who could get to learn Korean culture through this? Maybe even an idol who grew up wealthy and never got to experience this way of life before?

Here are some groups I think could fit the criteria of being able to commit to a consistent filming schedule in the countryside:

SayMyName

AtHeart

OurBirthday

Fifty Fity

Heart of Woman

H1 KEY

UNCHILD

Young Posse

LIGHTSUM

Keyveats

Odd Youth

Billlie

Baby DON’T Cry

HITGS

H//PE Princess

I’d love to hear your ideas below!! And if you have ideas on who you’d cast as the MC’s, drop them below as well!

I've really fallen in love with this group since the album that had remembrance candy and trampoline, They remind me a lot of dreamcatcher but while they aren't rock, they are more soulful and RnB influenced.

I would really like for them to put out an album With all these live recordings that they've done recently , because that's where they really shine the most Where the session band really gets to take certain songs and do something different with them.

Byond Me's intro and even outro adding sounding triumphant like a battle won adding the trumpet back in or Cloud Palace becoming a groovy jazz/Funk number.

I hope they're concerts have a live aspect with a full band also MFTsuki.

My top picks are :-

Han ( Stray kids)

Kim Hongjoong (Ateez)

Hoshi and Woozi (Seventeen)

MY ULTS ARE THESE TWO AND THEM DROPPING THE SUN MV AND THE COMEBACK TRAILER ON THE SAME DAY WAS CRAZYYY 😭😭

The Sun MV was sooo beautiful, and the vocals, the visuals, EVERYTHING was just perfection. Y'all should definitely watch it if you haven't already!! Also, I genuinely thought TXT was abandoning their T X T logo thing.but THEY DIDN'T!! 😭😭 YAYYYY, I'm so glad they're keeping it!!

I'M SO EXCITED FOR BOTH OF THEM TO DROP THEIR ALBUMS. MY ULTS ARE FEEDING US SO WELL ALREADY 😭🫶🏻💗

helloww fellow sais!!

this is just a fun question that came to mind, and i wanna know what you guys think/your opinions!!

(i think i used the wrong flair but whatever lol)
imo i would choose shinyu or youngjae since their personality is kinda similar to mines, and i wanna know what it's like being in their body :P

that's just what i think personally C:

if i don't know any songs from them, you can recommend me one if you'd like :)

Just wanted to share these screenshots of the MMA 2026 TOP10 leaderboard. The battle for #1 and #2 is an endless cycle: 🦉 Midnight to 3 AM: RESCENE takes #1, opening a 5,000 vote gap while the elderly fans sleep. 🌅 5 AM onwards: The grandmothers wake up, stream, vote, and hand #1 right back to Lim Young-woong with another 5,000 vote lead. With 12 days remaining, Who do you guys think will ultimately win this tug-of-war?

Not limited to just male idols by the way

Here is mine I honestly died when I seen this outfit

Hey everyone,

Wanted to share a little project I’ve been working on for Seokjin's solo eras. I got tired of jumping between five different links just to check Spotify numbers, voting links, and discography stuff, so I ended up coding a full fan hub called JINNIEverse.

A few things I built into it:

- Daily Stream Squad: you can plug in your stats.fm or Musicat username to track your plays, keep a daily streak, and unlock tour-style crew badges you can save as cards

- Jin Stream Bingo: a 5x5 randomized card with daily streaming missions you can stamp and download

- Playlist builder: generates playlists

- Real-time Spotify milestones and country chart updates

It's completely free, no ads, and you can add it to your phone home screen like a mini app.

Site is https://jinnieverse.com if you want to test out the bingo or join the stream squad. Would love to hear what you guys think or if there’s anything else I should add!

mine:

1. love yourself: answer - bts (will forever be my favorite bts album 🥹🩷)

2. love yourself: tear - bts (while i'm at it)

3. loud & proud - ampers&one

HM's:

- love me like - omega x

- loveholic - nct 127 (while I only know one song on each of these albums, they're two of my favorites - and I definitely need to listen to the full albums!)

mine is S.coups from seventeen.

I tried stanning the group but im bad with faces and names so I gave up but I enjoy their music and call S.coups my bias!

For me, when I was first getting into TXT, I saw so many unhinged edits about Soobin’s height that I genuinely believed he was like 6’6” (200 cm) 😭 As a tall person myself, I was out here thinking he was playing in the NBA on the side, only to realize later that while he's super tall, he’s not that ridiculously tall!

What’s a fake K-pop myth, viral edit lie, or fan rumor that completely fooled you when you were first starting out?

I almost never listen to gg’s but when I do I always think I should listen to them more. So please recommend me some of your fav gg songs. All gens and groups are welcome.

Please maximum of two songs per person 🙏
Edit. I’m so sry something came up and I’m gonna have to end it here
