Just dusted and reorganized the Amber Collection figures I have on display. I have the entirety of the Collection, but it won't be displaying them all until the rest of my collection room is reorganized.

Here's some great reference photos for the Jurassic Park T. rex animatronic. The final color scheme for the Rex had a fairly complex dappled patterning, which doesn't show up very well in the darkness of the set, or in the grainy old BTS videos.

As the title says, I changed my mouse cursor to a Jurassic Park one. The Image provided is what I used and created but in order for it to be a cursor file, it had to be heavily pixelized.

I'm honestly surprised there aren't many Jurassic Park related mouse cursers out there, the only ones I could find were mostly Jurassic World related, but I really wanted a Jurassic Park one.

What do you all think? I'm fairly proud of it (though might change it in the future) and would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Edit: No longer need that Cursor Editor website, Just select an image you like, save them as a file and use Convertio — File Converter which can convert simple images into cursor files. Make of it what you will. Saber has removed the screenshot and listing for JP Survival from the website. Could be a quiet cancellation, could be nothing. Either way, someone from Saber needs to speak up and say something, anything about the game. Even if it is cancelled.

A few hours later they put it back. All traces of the game were indeed gone from the website for a while.

If you somehow haven't heard of Prehistoric Emergence then now you have. While there was AI used in the beginning, the creator got feedback on it and listened to it and its entirely human made now.

This massive creature is know for hunting carnivore packs at night while they sleep with a high success rate. Gigantadominus does not attack other herbivores (unless provoked) despite it's indomitable ingredients.

I found this copy of Jurassic Park at a thrift store a few years ago and decided to pull it out again. The "Soon to be a motion picture" shows that it was printed before the movie was released.

I'm not looking to resell it and the coloring is extremely yellowed as you can see but I'm wondering if this copy is considered somewhat rare? Most of the modern prints are the anniversary edition.

I think I paid like $2 for this.

As a fan of crocodiles, I say it was an impressive and intimidating design. What makes this creature a step up to the T-Rex is its massive arms that as shown in the film, throws around the plane like a rag doll.

The red and white coloring gives the Spinosaurus almost a tribal look to it.

Re-watching Jurassic Park recently, I realized the Hindi voices sound completely different from what played on cassette tapes/VCDs and early cable back in the day.

Turns out all official OTT platforms now stream the 2006 TV re-dub. The original 1994 theatrical Hindi dub (which was the very first Hollywood blockbuster dubbed in Hindi in India) seems to have become lost media on official channels.

Is there any collector, archivist, or cinephile here who has access to an old VHS/VCD rip, an audio sync file, or a link to the original 1994 track? Would mean a lot!

As in, non-JP media. I have been writing something along those lines, but I'm left wondering if there are any other "dinosaur park on an island" stories unrelated to it.

It is a really nice concept, though I haven't seen it replicated.

So, a common gripe I and many people have with this movie's plot is that it's a cliche plotline straight from a video game (Hell, it's literally the plot of a childrens PC game they made for JP3).

The thing is, I absolutely wouldn't have minded that kind of plotline on its own. Jurassic Park/World has always been an adventure movie. What I find harder to forgive is David Koepp being utterly lazy and uncreative about it. He admitted that the whole reason we had this plot point of dinosaurs back on islands again and dying off on the mainland is because he genuinely couldn't think of a plot to make use of that.

That's a bullshit excuse and incredibly lazy. I know I'm beating a bit of a dead horse, but this horse deserves the beating.
