QUESTION Recently just started watching Jeopardy on a regular basis and had a few questions.

I feel like there has been an uptick in “sponsored” questions in terms of tv shows or companies trying to get their name out there. Is this a new trend?
Sometimes there is applause when a contestant commits to a “true daily double” and sometimes not. Is this just something that happens naturally? Or is the audience prompted to applaud?

The fact that they have half of both Ken & James runs available to watch; it’s really upsetting that they don’t have either of their final episodes.
