External / Previous Purchase Reviews
Use this thread to review jade purchases that did not begin in this subreddit. Our review guide can be found on our wiki: here.
This includes purchases from:
- Etsy
- eBay
- Mercari
- Poshmark
- Shopify stores
- Personal websites
- Instagram sellers
- TikTok sellers
- Facebook groups
- Jewelry stores (be sure to share the store's name)
- Jade markets
- Purchases made before joining this community
These reviews help members learn from real buying experiences outside the subreddit.
Important Difference
External purchase reviews do not count the same way as subreddit transaction reviews.
They may help buyers research sellers, platforms, pricing, packaging, certificates, and customer service, but they do not automatically create subreddit seller flair.
External reviews are not subreddit endorsements.
Review Rules
Please keep reviews factual, specific, and based on your own purchase experience.
Allowed:
- Positive external seller reviews
- Neutral external seller reviews
- Negative external seller reviews
- Reviews of packaging, shipping, communication, returns, listing accuracy, and disclosure
- Photos of the item, packaging, listing, or certificate if private information is removed
Not allowed:
- Reviews of sellers you did not personally buy from
- Rumors or secondhand accusations
- Harassment
- Doxxing
- Threats
- Posting private addresses, emails, phone numbers, payment details, or tracking numbers (IMMEDIATE AND PERMANENT BAN)
- Altered screenshots
- Encouraging brigading or harassment of a shop/seller
