Their whole observation and interactions with the bar employees and then trying to replicate it at Paddy's makes this one of the funniest episodes of the season

The Gang Joins a Circus
After discovering Mac performing interpretive dance at a creepy circus they all audition to get jobs there. Dee goes, of course, with the bearded lady schtick. Charlie plays piano and bashes some rats. He wants to learn how to clown. Dennis is hired to be Ringmaster, at least he thinks he is. It is implied he just wants to travel like a gypsy,, traceless and invisible. But not for murdering or anything. Part two: Frank Sells the Circus. It's revealed that Frank owns the circus. Won it off some sketchy Korean woman in a gambling den in Vietnam. In the 90's. It was either take the circus or cut off a guy's hand... Frank's says "...and I ain't doin' that again." Frank is the only reason Mac "works" there. The gang puts on a special show to convince Frank to keep the circus at which point there's a reveal similar to the highschool reunion performance. Maybe Cricket drugged them? Maybe the McPoyles tried to poison them? Mac wakes up, smiling, from this lovely dream but then Frank wakes up screaming and it was his nightmare all along... He's afraid of clowns.

Is Luther the most compassionate parent in Sunny in PA? NSFW
I was wondering who would the most compassionate parent in Sunny is. All of the parents are basically just as horrible as the kids - which is what r love about them. However, A few things about Luther kind of struck me. He tries to bring Charlie and Mac to the baseball hall of fame, reiterates that there are no hard feelings between he and Charlie In the whole heroin incident thing. he also says that he wants to get away so he can learn how to forgive Mac. These are pretty respectable in terms of parenting. Maybe deep down, he actually cares about his son's well-being π

Boy Love?
Every time I watch an episode of IASIP my attention is drawn to the intriguingly named - and strikingly designed - store in the credits.
I realise this video is more than 20 years old, but...
Does anyone from Philadelphia remember what this store, possibly 'Boy Love - Indigo Accessories' may have been? Is it intact the similarly enticing Body Love? Is this where Mac has been disappearing to when not leprechaun hunting in local clubs?
Perhaps a brother store to 'Lady Love'?
Does anyone even recognise which exact street this shot in the intro is? Might be a good starting point.

"I have contained my rage for as long as possible, but I shall unleash my fury upon you like the crashing of a thousand waves! Begone, vile man! Begone from me! A starter car? This car is a finisher car! A transporter of gods! The golden god! I am untethered, and my rage knows no bounds!"
