Marvel Mangaverse: Iron Knight #1

“It was a wonderful meeting when I was offered it. It was primarily, I think, an almost entirely Black producing and directing team. And they said, ‘We want to offer you Mephisto, but we are aware of the negative association of Jews historically with the devil, and we want to make sure that you’re not insulted by us offering this.’ It was such an amazingly considerate, empathetic thing to say. And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m good.’

I think for the Jews out there, sometimes we don’t feel seen. We don’t feel like people can empathize with us, that we are suffering too. And so to have this entirely Black producing and directing team be so empathetic was a moment of being seen. It was an amazing experience.”

I just genuinely loved the show, hate that people are still dogpilimg anyone who doesn't shit on it.

Plus a few extra gifs thrown in there

In case you’re wondering, I used the vercel Marvel Rivals character info template and a mix of google slides and Kleki for everything else

I am also not by any means a competitive player, so I don’t know if her kit is balanced or not, I just tried to make something cool that I felt reflected what Ironheart does

And yes I know Griot is only in the MCU be closed

E.D.I.T.H., Ultron, and Jocasta are also confirmed in the cast, along with J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., U, DUM-E, Vision, and Speed.

but nothing about

I ❤️ her suits because I find them more believable than the Iron Man suits. They’re bulkier and also just less powerful. Also the way they have to charge constantly with solar and wind power makes perfect sense. In the show, I liked how much they focused on her struggle to build them. With Iron Man, I have to turn my brain off a little more, to believe that the suit’s hand could fit like a glove and still have room to blast lasers and propel him through the sky. Which I often enjoy— but this was refreshing. And then in the last couple episodes, they switched it up when they made it run on magic. I love that as well. It’s good that the MCU is acknowledging how all its different themes, like fantasy and sci-fi, exist in the same world. Magic is just magic, you don’t need to explain how it works— if you say a spell can be used as a limitless power source, I’ll believe it. I really hope we get to see more of Riri in the MCU. Idk what happened to her when she bargained with Mephisto, tho. I think she’s a pretty good successor to Iron Man. She definitely can’t replace his personality, (no one can) but she’s a good superhero and I’ll take what I can get.
