Looking for advice on what to do. It is quite a large construction, it goes on the whole day and during the night at around 11pm large trucks appear which make very loud sounds of pouring out the construction materials, this goes on starting at 11 or 11:30PM till 2-3AM. Thought to ignore but it has been more than 4-5 days and it's still happening, the sounds are so extremely loud that they completely wake me up 5-6 times during the night and my sleep quality has become horrible.

Are there no time rules regarding construction and noise? I thought of making a complaint but my parents fear that we might get in trouble with whoever's constructing this or the thekedaar, they think ki "koi ladne aa jaayega" we might make enemies out of them, or that even if I complain they'll just bribe the authorities and continue. I wanted to ignore such things but my parents saying this did put some doubt in my mind on what to do. No one else in my neighborhood seems to have complained either

Hey guys, sorry if this is a stupid question, but this is my first time paying an electricity bill myself, so I'm a little confused and anxious.

I just paid our MPPKVVCL electricity bill through Google Pay, and the transaction status says Successful. However, when I checked the bill on the MPOnline website, it still shows the outstanding amount. I also haven't received any payment confirmation SMS from MPPKVVCL yet.

I literally paid just a few minutes ago, and tomorrow is the last date for payment, so I'm worried whether the payment has actually gone through or if it'll update later.

Has anyone experienced this before? Does it usually take some time for the outstanding amount to disappear? Should I just wait, or is there anything else I need to do?
