One thing I've noticed about Indian dogs is that every dog seems to have a completely different personality.

Some act like they own the entire street, some are scared of the smallest things, and some will follow you around like you've been best friends for years. 😂

And the way some street dogs remember the people who feed them is genuinely heartwarming.

I do everything by the book: feed them in the night when there are less people on the road. I ensure I leave the road clean and pick up every newspaper and bowl. All these dogs are fully vaccinated because I got the municipality to do it. So why are people harassing me saying the reason that they are here is because I feed them??? My streeties are pups - they are less a year old and so naturally they will be a bit more playful. But how am I to blame??? MAKE THIS MALE SENSE TO MEE.

I was walking my dog today, on a public road, on a leash, on our regular route around the community. We were walking and she stopped to sniff on the road, with a whole sidewalk between us and the wall where a 12-13 y.o girl and her family were sitting. This girl suddenly jumps off the boundary wall she was sitting on and makes a whole thing of being scared and telling me "isko leke jaao" (translation- take her away). I understand fear, and I don't let my dog approach anyone , especially children, even though she is very friendly. But this baffled me, almost felt a tad entitled behavior. My pupper was on a leash, we were walking, and we were at a distance. I usually don't engage and just walk away. But today, told her quite firmly that my dog's on a leash, we are at a distance, and if she is still scared, she can walk away. We anyway walked away because we were on a walk! Anywho, I think I may be overacting. I usually don't engage with these reactions but honestly so tired of this borderline entitled behavior to public spaces. What would you have done, or do, in similar situations?

Today i found this street dog on the road where a lot of vehicles were passing and he was all alone (maybe separated from mother) so i took him home to feed some food and decided to adopt him ☺️
