Zerodha has entered the US stock investing space with brokerage of just 0.1% (minimum $0.01 per order), compared to Groww’s $1 and Angel One’s $0.99 minimums.
All three charge 0.1%, but Zerodha’s lower minimum could make a big difference for small investors.
Forex conversion charges, taxes, and other fees still apply. Competition is getting interesting!

Holy shit crude has reached $111 dollars, also India's import bill has risen 40% in September that's $16 Billion that was also a reason yesterday markets slumped after 11:30 , This is seriously concerning, now i think Trump is doing it on purpose to sell Venezuela oil at premium price's and to hurrdle china and India's economy

This is power of Indian businesses. From giving threat of tariff to coming to our own home to do deal for oil refinery .damn..now who is really needed to get out of this worse situation ? Elon or reliance ambani..without ambani where will usa will refine those massive oil in Venezuela.

Jio Platforms clocked approx ₹1.47 lakh crore top line with over ₹30k crore PAT in FY26. Solid numbers on paper, but telecom/digital infra is a notorious capital sinkhole. The transition from 4G to 5G, and now early chatter on 6G and AI data centers, requires sustained reinvestment.

The planned ₹27,500 cr debt reduction at the subsidiary level from the IPO is an essential de-risking move. High interest expenses during a capex cycle restrict your maneuvering room. By taking debt off the board, their net margins should get some cushion. The real question is whether home broadband ARPU will pick up fast enough to justify the huge infrastructure outlay over the next 3-5 years.

My preference order for US stock investing:

INDmoney

Dhan

TickerTape

Passa

Groww

INDmoney is my first choice because it has small Wire/SWIFT charges.If you choose partner bank.

Dhan is my second choice because it seems trustworthy and has a larger user base. TickerTape also seems like a good option.

Passa is second last because it's new and has a very small user base.

I'm not considering Zerodha because I don't have an account there, and opening one may involve additional charges.

I had been doing long term investing, along with IPO to increase portfolio and returns. This year wiped out almost all my buffer I accumulated in previous years.

I am unemployed and a recent graduate so I don't have much purchase power but I am happy I started investing in stocks after a college lecture encouraging to take risk while young.

This year has been one big downhill, looks more prominent now when I look back at my graphical history. Almost a 40% reduction in overall capital value and 70% (down from 84%) loss in returns.

I hope holding long run won't be a mistake and its just a market phase.

One thing to note is, Ather Energy is my sole bull carrying my portfolio (20 shares since IPO)

Basically the title, are there any positive developments? Why is GIFT Nifty up? Crude oil has gone up sharply and bond yields are again climbing up slowly.
