Ok. I actually did not mean degrees. I don't know, I have a masters from IIT Kanpur and a PhD from University of Antwetp Belgium, you don't have to believe, that's not the point. The question is does this make me intellectually superior? No. Perhaps I am privileged.

What I am talking about here is that most BJP supporters are not wise enough to see that Modi's cabinet do not see/or don't want to see how a strong foundation is the most important things for a building. In 12 years, if Modi had just focused on ensuring good education and nutrition at all costs, today we would have a bigger generation of disciplined and educated youth. Investment would flow in more to tap into this human resource via manufacturing or services. Add to that high investment in science technology, we could at least have some good deep tech or IT companies evolving out of the country.

But Modi's cabinet did not understand this. RSS is behind him also keep power. There has only been PR shows, photoshoots, promises, and naarebaazi. How can Modi's supporters cannot see. Rahul Gandhi can be clumsy sometimes. But the guy is consistently talking about grass root development. At least he is talking some substance.

Grassroot level development is seen by the people on grassroot and not by privileged guys like you and me staying in our flats. You got it right. In democracy, the citizens financing the govt. by tax payment and electing it by voting are together the "Sundar Pichai". The govt. is elected and hence employed by the masses. The masses always pays the money.
