I see so many people complaining about how overrated this guy is and I really think it’s overblown and at this point, ridiculous.

Kirk has never marketed himself as a top tier virtuoso, seems totally humble in his abilities, and is a perfectly competent player.

It would be a different story if he was being marketed as a god tier shredder virtuoso, but that’s not the case.

The guy loves what he plays, and never even presents himself as anything above that.

The hate he gets makes no sense. And it always seems to come from 16 year old Djent guys who think that if something is hard to play, it must be better music.

Band out of Temecula

Alpha Tiger - 2013 - Beneath The Surface - We Came From The Gutter

Shall I tell you some secrets, my sweet little son?

Don't trust those who talk with cloven tongue

Oh beware when you step out into the blue

'cause vultures in the sky are lurking for you

Now you're prepared to go out and break through the fence

Just a small child, but you got the right in your hands

We came from the gutter

And still we are here

Call for revolution

Salvation is near

The Rich men sells heart and soul and take money instead

While a beggar in the street shares his last bread

Don't be jealous you have all what you need inside

Salvation waits in the plain, the plain shades of life

We're not wealthy, but envy can't keep us down

It's not more important what we could have bad, but what we have now

We came from the gutter

And still we are here

Call for revolution

Salvation is near

Sometimes you will find darkness outside of the night

Sometimes you will find wisdom in the heart of a child

Take all your chances, remember to share your heartbeat

If it's your will, you could have the world at your feet

Now you're prepared to go out and break through the fence

Just a small child, but you got the right in your hands

We came from the gutter

And still we are here

Call for revolution

Salvation is near

If any of you folks dig Priest, Ozzy, Maiden and the other bands from the glorious 80s, here’s a new release from a heavy metal band in India. Do check it out. 👊🏻🤘🏻

All Nightmare Long for me. Honorable mention to Atlas Rise and Spit out the Bone.

What about y'all?

QueensRyche - 1988 - MindCrime - Speak

They've given me a mission

I don't really know the game yet

I'm bent on submission

Religion is to blame

I'm the new messiah

Death Angel with a gun

Dangerous in my silence

Deadly to my cause

Speak to me the pain you feel

Speak the word

The word is all of us

I've given my life to become what I am

To preach the new beginning

To make you understand

To reach some point of order

Utopia in mind, you've got to learn

To sacrifice, to leave what's now behind

Speak to me the pain you feel

Speak the word

The word is all of us

Speak the word

The word is all of us

Seven years of power

The corporation claw

The rich control the government, the media the law

To make some kind of difference

Then everyone must know

Eradicate the fascists, revolution will grow

The system we learn says we're equal under law

But the streets are reality, the weak and poor will fall

Let's tip the power balance and tear down their crown

Educate the masses, We'll burn the White House down

Speak to me the pain you feel

Speak to me the pain you feel

Speak the word (Revolution)

The word is all of us

Speak the word (Revolution)

The word is all of us

Speak the word

The word is all of us

Speak the Word

The word is all of us

SPEAK!!!
