Please note the tiny bit of breakfast on the tip of her nose, which she is proudly displaying.

The shenanigans must go on.

Riff-Raff went through a spell of needing extra care during weaning. He was doing what Kitten Lady calls “meat nursing,” where he sucked at the gooshifud instead of biting and chewing it.

His weight stalled - while his sibs put on 40 or 50 grams, he gained 10 and then lost 5.

We moved him to boiled, shredded chicken breast, to encourage him to learn to chew, and he took to it like a velociraptor! He still nursed on the kitten food, tho.

We then tried a new brand of kitten food that had chicken chunks, and all is well now!

Oh - also, he turned out to be a girl.

I have some very shy foster kittens right now, and was concerned about how I could weigh them. Ended up being the easiest weighing session I've had - all 3 took turns weighing themselves. I just had to sit nearby and wait.

Their names are Felony and Arson, my little criminals! Both were found in a bush outside of someone's house, poor Felony had a bad eye infection and both had terrible parasites. Both are healthy, happy, and very much loved now!

Found an extra smol floof on the porch. He was happy to hide in my hood while I bought supplies.

~Update for yall, my wonderful girlfriend just got home from the vet with the tiny criminal. And as it turns out, SHE is 6weeks old (the kitten). We have decided her name is Tortellini the Shadow assassin, and her specialty is toes.

I nurse orphan New born kittens and thiswas one of my latest litter.

Inmate does get frequent eye and chin crusties cleanings, however, she is a seasoned criminal and re-crusties with great efficiency.
