Surprised to find these at Big W today. I rarely see any of the more sought after models here in Australia, and have never seen a chase before, so I was really surprised to find these today.

Can't wait to show my son tonight when he's home from kinder.

Consistency pays off! Walked into a Walmart and found this! So stoked!

FINALLY! I have seen everyone else getting their as I patiently waited for my order. This Ferrari is nothing new to the sub, but its NEW to me. And I just wanted to share. I got my HW RLC Ferrari F40 order. And they are BEAUTIFUL! Well done Mattel 👏 👏👏

I've been looking for this one for awhile and today was my day at walmart. Now I'm just waiting for my RLC F40.

I really like how it looks, i wish they keep producing it. Since this hotwheel stopped producing in 2020.

I guess I got some luck from starting a new job today. Before I went in for work I stopped at a usually empty Walmart I haven’t been to in ages…and yes it was still empty. Target, however, was a different story.

First red editions I’ve found in months, plus the cyberpunk 2 pack which I was originally gonna pass up because they’re just too expensive for me…but I had to make an exception just this once.

After work, though, was a different story.

Remember a few months ago, I found 2 of the ford sierra sths at family dollar and they offered me a job? Well today was Wednesday so I decided to head back there.

I’m glad I did: 2 fresh displays (one for hw and one for mb) plus a matchbox case. They recognized me from over the summer when I found the 2 sierras in the shippers (and I even got one of said shippers a month or two later) and opened the displays and case up.

I spotted the yellow integra almost immediately, and checked the drive side. Lo and behold, it was on the right this time, while the other two I had were left hand drive.

I do want to talk about the th tho. I was struggling to find it for the longest time, and someone I know actually got it for me a few months ago. I feel like every year there’s the one that gets away, especially last year when I couldn’t find the d case th to save my life but found the other 14.

Well, not anymore. I finally found my own m case th today in the hot wheels display, marking 13/15 treasure hunts found. Now I’m back on track to complete the year, and I can’t wait until I do. Only 2 left: p and q.

Yesterday I was fortunate to find another 917k to open to take pictures of it, along with the 908 and my other 917s. Took the old casting out, now that I can really compare the two. Yup, the retool was sorely needed; just as good as the 1/43 917. I mainly wanted to highlight the 908/3. I have to thank Project Cars 2 for introducing this car to me.

So tonight I busted out some acrylic paint markers I recent purchased. Decided to just wing it and start accenting. I still may strip this thing but I figured id continue to play with techniques and using these new colors. The lighting in tje kitchen was not helpful and seemed like i kept painting in my own shadow making it hard to see - so lesson learned there: better lighting. Last pic as a reminder of where it started

Got inspired by a certain Redditor who stuffs jars with Tooned Batmobiles and decided to do the same with my Citroens (and Fiats)

First time doing a wasteland theme custom, let alone using this many attachments. I plan to take outdoor photos of the wasteland Hako soon

I’m not ashamed to admit, that I drove 2 hours one way in an Utah snow storm for this bad boy!! Would do it again in ah heartbeat!!🤓🤘

For Context: this was my Hot Wheels Collection when I was a kid. I had started collecting since I was 3 years old. I stopped by age 12 after moving on to other hobbies. I had kept this collection alongside a hot wheels clothing set. I'm now 25, my roommate moved out of my old room and while I was cleaning I found my old collection. Some of these are older than me.

Found the Nova today!

I posted a new new HW Ferrari 365 GTB4 Competizione in yellow the other day that received some nice comments.
I have not seen that one in yellow so I was glad to have found it. Good looking in that yellow.

That made me think of what I have collected over the years & I went digging.
Found the 1991 Ferrari 250 #117 that’s fun to look at.
I also have a loose HW Corgi casting of the yellow Testarossa from a 1997 Super Highway play pack.

I always associated red with Ferrari but I understand that the official brand color is actually yellow. Interesting story.
