Hunters are deadly agile fast assasins from The Combine Alien Forces however Freeman encounters them only in Victory mine after he destroyed Citadel.

In City-17 you can make the arguement that they have hard times fitting into door frames even I imaginee them bonding their legs and get there. But they for sure would be good on Highway 17. Nova Prospect could use hunters against antlions maybe.

Narrow doors frames is really slim explanation cause White Forest showed what happens when not main characters meet hunters in kinda narrow Black Mesa like corridors.

There's got to be some questioning of what happened and why most of the staff were killed, and there would likely be survivors as well that would spill the beans that they were getting wiped out by the military.

If you take the gearbox expansions as cannon then there's also the fact that the facility gets nuked and that Barney and a couple of scientists makes it out so I can't see how a cover-up would work in the long-term.

I've been working on a PowerVR emulator (it's mostly done but needs performance tuning) and testing Half-Life on it I was struck by this particular loading screen. I doubt it's been seen much in this millenium.

PowerVR was a competitor to the 3DFX Voodoo - you put it in your system and it added 3D acceleration. It was an interesting design but was really heavy on the processor and needed a beefy PC - which kind of hurt it since it was positioned as more of a value option compared to Voodoo. Videologic (the company behind PowerVR) released a MiniGL driver specifically for Half-Life, and this is the loading screen.

My best friend made this and got it signed by Gaben before gifting it to me. Wanted to share.

sorrgy miku......... accident

i didn't quite like how the original video used half-life source as it clearly just shows hl2 blood on miku and there are no gibs so i (tried) my best to recreate this video in the original half-life version with the good ol' goldsrc engine.

the reason why miku is clipped to the ground partially and why she clips underground fully after she falls is because i just renamed the miku player model to an npc. there are no actual animations as an npc model.

So, at the start of HL: 2 Barney saves Gordon from going to Nova Prospekt, takes him to an interrogation room, turns off the camera, and when an officer comes to see what's going on, he has Gordon fuck all the way off.

How do you think he managed to talk his way out of it?

Personally, I think he told the guy Gordon was an old friend, and he was doing him a favor and let him go. Probably bribed the guy with some means and told him he'd take the fall if something came of it (and then also fucked off to Kleiner lab, basically until the Uprising)
