Advice
I'm a beginner learning ethical hacking, and I'm struggling with HTML, JavaScript, and building a simple login-page clone for a local lab.
I'm interested in understanding how phishing simulations work, how HTTP form submissions are handled, and how defenders detect credential-harvesting attempts. I only want to use fictional test accounts in an isolated environment that I own.
Which beginner-friendly tools or guided labs would you recommend? Would you suggest learning the basics first or starting with a tool such as SET?
I'm not looking to collect real users' credentials. I'd appreciate advice from experienced penetration testers on the best learning path for someone who is still developing their programming skills.
