Hi! Does anyone know where the best place to get a TB skin test and flu vaccine is. Also the most affordable place to get a physical done. I know HCC will be offering it but I don’t need everything done that’s on the flier do they allow you to pay for just certain things? Thank you in advance

Has anyone been getting sent numerous suspicious mails with pdf files attached? It goes by some “mailanyone” @ location. I’ve recently just got sent one from an “hccfl” without any @ location attached to it few minutes ago. Just wanted to know if it’s just me.

Hi everyone! what file are we supposed to upload? I’ve already enrolled in the cohort, but the instructions don’t specify what to submit. Are we supposed to upload a screenshot of the enrollment confirmation?

Any recommendations for professors and format (in-person, online, or hybrid) for General Chemistry (CHM 2045)?

Hey! I'm planning my Spring 2027 classes at Hillsborough Community College and was wondering if anyone has recommendations for online professors who are chill, understanding, and don't require Honorlock for exams.
The classes I'm planning to take online are:
I'm also considering HSC 1531 (Medical Terminology) for a future semester.
If you've taken any of these online, I'd really appreciate hearing which professors you'd recommend! I'm especially looking for classes with manageable workloads, fair grading, reasonable deadlines, and exams that don't use Honorlock or other invasive proctoring software.
I'm trying to keep my GPA high for the Radiography program, so any advice or professor recommendations would be super helpful. Thank you!!

Hey everyone! :)
I'm currently in Level 2 and will be taking my HESI exams for Fundamentals of Nursing and Dosage Calculation in December. I'm hoping to get some advice from those who have already taken them! When I was preparing for the ATI TEAS, there were so many resources available, including study guides, practice questions, and clear outlines of what to expect. It made studying pretty straightforward. However, preparing for the HESI has been a completely different experience! I've searched for resources but haven't found much guidance on what to focus on. I've also looked through Sherpath and asked my professors, but unfortunately, they weren't able to recommend any additional resources.
For any upperclassmen who have already taken these exams, could you share what to expect, how you prepared, and what resources helped you the most?
Any advice, study tips, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Just trying to get a head start and prepare as best as I can.

This is a such stupid thing to complain about i know it is, but I want to say it.
It should be easier to find your professors name. Like why do I need to dig into workday or through a syllabus.
I spend one hour once and sometimes twice a week with the professor and you get the name once at the beginning and then you better remember it the rest of the semester. Theres not a ton of discussion in class where someone says their name either so I just gotta dig up the name again whenever I need to add it to a paper.
Idk, there's definitely ways to remember their names better and I know its dumb to complain about this but im writing a couple MLA papers and each subject gotta dig up their name again

If you have time, I highly suggest that you go talk to the advisors about what classes to take before November because registration starts for fuse and other students on the 26th and then later on in November for everybody else, but if you know where to take you can pre-build your schedule and have a better chance of getting classes that you actually want with teachers you want

I am going through the all the needed form requirements. Can anyone break down what to do with HC Health Packet? Am I just supposed to schedule an appointment with a provider to confirm vaccinations? I got all the vaccinations throughout childhood so I am not sure what to do

has anyone done classes to go into being a radiography technologist? I’m just a bit confused. They have me going for my AA but radiology is under AS. Now i understand maybe because that’s for like becoming the actual thing, the radiologist who interprets the pictures but there’s nothing for radiology under AA and I have an appointment with an advisor to talk to them about it, but I just wanna know if anyone personally has went through this or is going through it so they know the steps to get to the path that they need to be on do they offer the programs here and then I can take the board exam or do I have to go to a actual radiography tech school after getting my AA or AS and prerequisite classes

Hey guys i missed out in the fall semester but im ready to attend spring semester 2027! I dont know where to start i already have a hawk account. Im a first generation Hispanic American student with immigrant parents and the first to attend college. I really don’t know where to start. Do I go registered at the HCC campus? I don’t know how to pick my classes.I FEEL so helpless and stupid! I know I want to work in the hospital maybe not a nurse but I’m willing to explore different career paths. I actually live a couple minutes from the HCC campus since I recently moved here to Ruskin fl.

Hello everyone! I’m planning to enroll at Hillsborough college from Belarus. How many international students are in there and what can you advise? I’m thinking about A.A. Program for Hospitality management with future transfer to UCF. Is it worth it?

Hi everyone! I’m an incoming Spring 2027 nursing student. Does anyone know if classes or clinical rotations are ever scheduled on weekends, or are they usually on weekdays? Just trying to plan ahead with my work schedule. Thanks!

I’m planning to apply to HCC’s Dental Hygiene program, but my prerequisite GPA is around a 3.0. I’m worried it won’t be competitive.
Does anyone know the lowest GPA accepted in previous years, or has anyone gotten in with a GPA close to mine? If you’ve applied with a similar GPA, what was your experience?
Would you recommend retaking classes to raise my GPA or applying to other programs too? Any advice would help. Thanks!

Pre-nursing at SPC (FL). Need Micro w/ lab done by spring. SPC requires BSC 1005 first and I can't fit it. Does HCC accept A&P 1 or Gen Chem as the Micro prereq? Anyone taken Micro + lab online as a transient student, or A&P 2 and Micro together?
Hey everyone, I just got accepted into HCC's nursing program (Dale Mabry, daytime cohort 2 ) starting this January and I'm trying to get ahead of it.
A little about me: I'm a CDL driver making a career change, and I'll be honest — I coasted through my prereqs and didn't retain as much A&P as I should have. I'm a hands-on learner, so I'm hoping the actual program clicks better than the prereq lectures did.
For those who've been through HCC's program (or any ADN program):
• What do you wish you'd brushed up on before day one?
• How bad is the first semester, really?
• Any specific tips for dosage calc? I keep hearing that's the silent killer.
• Anything about clinicals I should know going in?
Appreciate any advice — trying to walk in prepared, not blindsided.
