I know this is not exactly a guitar amplifier but i need help just understanding this because i’ve been trying for hours by now.
From what i understand, the most basic form of a transistor amplifier takes the ac signal of the guitar, it gets merged with a dc signal to be able to modify the resistance within a transistor to make the dc current inside it alternate at the same frequency as the ac current but with bigger amplitude. Then it goes to a capacitor that blocks the dc but picks up on the alternating part of the dc to make an ac current that then goes to the speaker. Right? That’s what i understand anyway please correct me if i am wrong.
The thing is, my understanding doesnt really line up with the most basic simple scematics i could find.So now i have questions.
why is there no capacitor after the transistor to make the amplified signal go back to ac before reaching the speaker?
how does the ac and dc come together in this circuit?
Why are there two grounds, where does that even go to? Is it just to make the circuit loop back?
What is vcc?
Why is the battery goign into the speaker? Wouldn’t that break it?
Why is there an arrow on the transistor of the second picture not even pointing to the speaker? What does that mean?? It just looks like the transistor is sending the audio into nowhere??
Thank you for reading and please help me i’m very new to this and everything is so hard.
