With the recent increasing mobilisation of reactionaries on the streets we've seen an increase in videos of said reactionaries being posted to the subreddit. Every time videos like these are posted here there is a flood of comments attacking the person's appearance, teeth, haircut, claiming they're "on the spectrum", and even use of the r-slur which has apparently come back into fashion in recent years.
As socialists we stand with the disabled. We stand against body shaming. We stand against the othering of people based on appearance or innate characteristics.
This is a behaviour that many of you have learned from participation in liberal subreddits, where they have no principles and are perfectly fine with claiming to be pro-lgbt while simultaneously calling Trump gay and cackling about it every opportunity they get.
Consider the fact that many of the people you attack in this way are exactly the people who we are trying to help. If a 20 year old trans woman walks down the wrong street in this country without passing she experiences exactly the same attacks you're throwing at these videos. If a socially ostracised guy with an appearance that deviates from "normal" in this country finds this subreddit, is sympathetic to socialist views, but then sees you making exactly the same attacks against the fascists as the fascists use against him, do you think they'll turn to the left as a place for help? If the marginalised in this country come to our community and find people who are just replicating right wing culture they're not going to feel comfortable and they're not going to trust us. That's a fucking failure on the part of everyone who contributes to this culture.
We will be cracking down on this more from here on out.
Attack the fascists for their actions. Not for their appearance.

The UK gov accepted all recommendations from its IHRA-based antisemitism report about schools. Yet the report provides almost no breakdown of what the alleged antisemitism actually involved, while citing stuff like "Free Palestine" among examples of antisemitic abuse.

As a Muslim, I should be angry at the Islamophobia, but as a Welsh Republican, it’s a fine insult at the crown… my heart can’t stand being pulled in opposite directions!
The royal family presided over one of the most brutal empires in history: Charles knowing a Hadith of the Prophet (PBUH) doesn’t erase the crown’s (as an institution) role in massacring and enslaving millions of Muslims and non-Muslims; peoples of many faiths and ethnicities across Africa and Asia.
P.s. know there’s a specific flair for the king, but I’d love an ‘accidentally left-wing’ flair.
Edit: I forgot to mention this, but I must note that I absolutely condemn all forms of ageism. I agreed with the anti-royal sentiment only.
