I'll have some money soon and I want an in box/sealed Pixel 10a or Pixel 10 Pro XL if I can find a deal.

I know you can get really good deals when you get your phone from a cellular provider but those phones typically have locked boot loaders. are there carrier's in the US that sell unlocked phones?

If I purchase a phone and it comes with an Esim already installed, what happens to the Esim if you install GOS?

threw grapheneos on the pixel 10 pro fold i just received through ups today and loving it! really enjoy that it doesn't sacrifice most of the amenities you'd find on AOSP (aside from adaptive charging seemingly missing but i don't fault the grapheneos team for that)

the only "negative" i noticed is that the sandboxed play store occasionally crashes for some reason, but i don't mind it because you can just reopen it immediately and i'm not gonna be in the play store most of the time now that i have all my apps downloaded anyway lol

happy to answer any questions or suggestions related to being a new user or specifically using grapheneos on a pixel fold device

using a combination of smart launcher (for the differentiation in apps between folded & unfolded) and wallpaper engine for the animated deltarune fountain wallpaper, though i still need more time to customize things fully

I have been experiencing a persistent delay in connectivity after manually restarting the device. Currently, I use Rethink to ensure greater visibility and control. I can see that applications are making requests. However, I am unable to make web requests using Vanadium.

Can someone please help me with the settings to - turn Wi-Fi on and connect automatically to my home network - only update system and apps when on Wi-Fi

This is the second month where the Wi-Fi doesn't automatically connect to my home network and I'm gonna run out of data with 2 weeks left. I use my owner profile just to download and distribute apps to the secondary profiles. Data saver is on.

For some reason on google maps i can get directions and everything as long as i put in a starting location and the ending location.

However when i use my location as the starting point in google maps, it doesn't work.

How do i fix that in grapheneos?

The site was crawled within this year, and today it appeared near the top of the search results.

They could just be some legitimate preinstalled GrapheneOS seller, but I am not sure.

No selfie cam, can change IMEI... seems like something people super concerned with privacy could find useful. There's a new version, the Brax3 for sale on the website (asked chatgpt and followed the link) does anyone here have any experience with this device?
