Finally got some shelves and setup my collection how’s it looking ?

Well, I guess obviously I did. I was terrified of camping for a little bit as a kid after reading some spooky books and then realizing just how big and dark the forest actually is at night. But Goosebumps just gives camping the spooks 👻

You can find these on my ebay if youre interested! Happy Halloween 🧡🧡🧡

The last stop on a 4 day roadtrip of Halloween hunting, and I almost walked past this! Finally found another GB tape at thrift

The only book I know got a reprint was Please don't feed the vampire and I do know books 1 to 22 got a kindle edition but why did the rest of them go out of print and never got a reprint.

i just watched buddy and it reminded me so much of the goosebumps books by many aspects.

-slight spoilers ahead-

here somes things i noticed :

1. the kids being from 10 to 12 gives the same frame

2. set in 1999 (at least for the show) which is a bit to late but since it's supposed to be beginning in the 50s it does have similar vibe

3. buddy being meant to be a toy or a reassuring friend but turns out to be evil (slappy (there is even a muppet at some point), my best friend is invisible, werewolf of the swamp, ...)

4. the adults being absent or not believing them (pretty much all the books lol)

5. being a TV show trap where they can't escape (horror land, the board game one i dont remember the name in English oupsie, ...)

6. the end having a big twist (also pretty much all the books)

i know is about a much darker theme and feature gores and death scène but the mechanism of the story telling did have some similarities that really caught my eyes. if you have any other or just théories or opinions I would love to hear them !!

i made a post recently looking for goosebumps vibes movies and this one did fit ahaha

The only one I have left. As a kid i had the first 40 but donated them like 25 years ago

I find this very funny, considering the rumor that the theme song samples 'How I Could Just Kill A Man'.

“It’s just the three of us since your father died” oh shit again I’m so sorry😭😭

So this was honestly a really welcome surprise. I’m glad to see Slappy get stuck on his own torture for once but seriously what is the timeline of this series man? If you only know the show it already doesn’t work but the small amount of lore they had within the books is out the window because of the Bride story.

That aside this was a really fun book and I liked it more than a lot of the others the series has done recently. Slappy was really trying to do better, I mean it’s for his own skin but still. And I really do like Jimmy in the series, I wish he was around more and I’m really happy to see him get his own revenge on Slappy for all the bad things he’s done.

Overall 8.5/10 I had a lot of fun

Hey Folks, we do TTRPG’s often with a silly comedic twist. This month we are going all things spooky 👻.

I saw this one as a kid, and even then I remember it bugging me how big the earth was in the sky. Like, bigger than the moon, really? I obviously get that it was necessary to produce the effect it did, but I still always remembered that.

Hey all, I joined this sub recently as I have crazy nostalgia for Goosebumps, growing up reading the books and watching the episodes (loved when a new one was airing, all my buds from my street would come over for them. Especially when YTV did “dark nights”, I’m sure some of ya remember those!)
I found some old Goosebumps Pogs in a box earlier today and figured this is the place to show them, also a little necklace deal (was on a cheap black string if I remember correctly.) what drives me nuts is I know I had more of those Pogs, maybe I’ll find them someday. Hope everyone’s havin a great day!

My copy of Goosebumps HorrorLand in front of my original 1-62 Goosebumps books. I was a little old for this game when it came out, but I do enjoy its charm, atmosphere, and music.

hi!! I would like to watch scary movie with the goosebumps vibes, very 90 and with similar story (even if not 90s). i love the books when they are in amusement park, camps and where robot or monsters (creatures or ghost) pretend to be human
