Hey Audballs. It's been a while but we're back, thank you so very much for the patience. Summer is here and that means it's time for another community exchange! Grab your favorite cold drink, soak up the sunshine, and join us for our Secret Summer Sweetsgiving Exchange. It's one of our favorite events because it's all about creativity, meeting new people, spreading kindness, and celebrating this amazing community we've built together. Whether your style is sweet, romantic, funny, cozy, dramatic, spicy, or somewhere in between, everyone is welcome. Every exchange brings new friendships, incredible performances, and plenty of surprises, and we can't wait to see what everyone creates this summer.
A huge thank you to everyone who has participated in our previous exchanges! Your enthusiasm and feedback have helped us make each event even better, and we're excited to do it all again with a new form and a few changes. Before signing up, please take a few minutes to read this post carefully, as filling out the form thoughtfully gives us the best chance to create great matches and helps keep the entire exchange fun and stress free for everyone involved.
š¤ How The Summer Exchange Works š¤
Think of it like a Secret Santa, but instead of exchanging physical gifts, we exchange custom audio creations. When you sign up, you'll receive two matches: one person who will secretly create an audio gift just for you and one person you'll secretly create an audio gift for. The identities of both participants stay anonymous until gifts are posted, that surprise is half the fun!
The day before matches go out, we'll post an important information thread that explains how posting will work and we'll include a link to that in your match message. That thread will also become the collection post where everyone can share and enjoy the finished gifts throughout the event.
Unlike automated exchanges, every match here is personally selected by the moderation team. We put a lot of thought and care into your matches, so please carefully review each form and match people based on interests, preferences, comfort levels, and creative styles. The more thoughtful and detailed your responses are, the better we can pair you with someone you'll genuinely enjoy creating for. If this sounds like your kind of fun, we'd love to have you! š¤ Our Joining Requirements š¤
To keep the exchange fair and enjoyable for everyone, we ask that participants meet a few basic requirements. If you're missing something when you sign up, don't worry, we'll reach out and let you know.
You must have been active (posting and/or commenting) within the last three months and have a solid history of participating in audio-related communities. Activity doesn't have to be limited to this subreddit.
You must also be approved to post on /r/GoneWildAudible. If you're not approved yet, don't worry! We'll happily help you through the approval process. You can also comment on this post if you'd like to join.
š¤ Important Event Dates š¤
Sign-ups are open from now until the end of : Saturday, July 18, 2026
Matches will be sent out by : Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
Audios are due by : Monday, August 31, 2026. You'll have just over a month to plan, write (if needed), record, edit, and post your gift. Please only sign up if you're confident you'll be able to finish by the deadline. Unfortunately, no deadline extensions will be given. If a participant is unable to complete their gift, we will rematch their recipient whenever possible, and participants who miss the deadline without prior communication won't be eligible for future exchanges.

- Tell us about what you enjoy creating. Be as specific as possible about the roles, characters, and dynamics you're comfortable performing.
- Select only the tags and themes you're genuinely interested in recording. Don't feel pressured to choose everything, we promise there's someone out there who's a great match for your preferences.

- Tell us what you'd love to receive. Be specific about the roles, dynamics, and styles you enjoy.
- Only select tags you're genuinely interested in hearing. There's also space to list hard limits or anything you absolutely don't want included in your gift.
Page 4 - Additional Notes
- This page gives you room for anything else you'd like us to know.
- Suggest extra tags or ideas you'd enjoy.
- List any users you don't wish to be matched with (no explanation required).
- Leave a private note for the moderation team if there's anything you'd like us to consider during matching.
Calling All Script Writers
Even if you don't create audio yourself, you can still be part of the event! We're putting together a volunteer writer list for creators who may be looking for script assistance during the exchange. The more specific you are, the easier it'll be for performers to find the right fit.
Hereās how it works:
- Our second event post will include a list of writers who are open to being contacted.
- Being on the list doesn't mean you're obligated to write for everyone, or anyone! You choose which requests you'd like to accept.
- Any scripts written specifically for this exchange should not be posted publicly as [script offers] until after the event has concluded.
If you'd like to volunteer, simply leave a comment below answering:
- What gender(s) are you comfortable writing for?
- Do you write SFW, NSFW, or both?
- Are there any tags or themes you're comfortable (or not comfortable) writing?
