Grabbed two bags, one for me and one for my buddy. They weigh the same, but the Vessel looks like it has more storage — perfect for my friend who brings literally everything out on the course haha.

But I’m stuck on the Ghost’s look. Big logos, plus that bright red zipper pull that says PLAY FEARLESSLY. It really pops.

It’s a fun bold detail, but I’m worried it’ll feel cringey/too much after a few rounds for casual walking golf.

What do you think about that "PLAY FEARLESSLY" tag?

-Cool motivational touch?

-Or just corny over-the-top branding?

Would this tiny detail change your pick between these two bags?

Good group of guys around me. Ironically had my most electric putting day ever before getting it. But is rolling realll nice so far.

I just picked up a beginner set of strata plus (don’t know the year but it’s blue) and it had everything except a sw (driver, 3w,4h,5h,6-9i,pw,pt+bag) for $140usd

I found this strata plus sw in red for $20usd.
Looks worn near the face edge but grooves look ok?
Maybe grooves just need a good brushing/cleaning?

Is it good enough for me as a beginner who’s only ever played 5 full rounds of golf using club rentals because of work reasons…I can hit it 9/10 and maybe more than half that time pretty straight, rest of the time is sliced

Only had to hit out of a bunker a handful and can get it out but not very far using the rental sw

I plan to play only a handful of times a year and likely go to indoor sims more for convenience and cost

What’s everyone thoughts, seller is asking for $220 AUD ($150 USD).

Bought a Qi4d 3 wood max head second hand and Comparing pictures to reviews it seems I’ve noticed this variation between heads.

1. At the corner by twist face the split logo has a grey area vs others meet right at the corner circled red. But checking 2nd swing I found other pictures where it also meets at the corner. Looking at the rack at PGA they had a gap.

2. The serial number has a gap and doesn’t have a gap between the glossy part but the new one at PGA has no noticeable gap

Thoughts?

Is this a snapped adapter or are these two separate parts and it was just installed wrong?

I had the raw shaft and a fresh adapter installed, and this is a matter of weeks later. It looks too clean to be a snap, but is it just the adapter? Does it need to be changed or can it be reglued?

I have this old Nike Oz putter I am refinishing as a little personal project, I want to gun blue the aluminum front portion, so I’ve been sanding it down, just wanna know what to do about these pesky little spots, should I keep sanding til the color is uniform or just finish over them?

We are having a friendly 3 club scramble between a group of us, 1 driver, 1 iron, and our putter.

The kicker is the driver can not cost more than $200. (Must provide a receipt)

To make it more fun we are allowed to buy non conforming clubs too.

What would be a good used driver under 200?

I read about the Cobra 440sz, its right there at $150-200

I just know a few of the others will be going after non conforming too. But I also want something forgiving.

We will be playing 9 holes on a regular course and then 9 holes on a par3 course.

I plan on using a 7 as my iron, and use my driver as a fairway wood also.

I found/bought this TaylorMade Tour Issued Aged Copper Finish Mullen Putter, Flow Neck, 35in. $200 “New” condition (no plastic wrap around it but the club is flawless). Feels as good as it looks.

3 months into my golf journey. Impulse bought used g430 irons and Cleveland wedges after getting fitted and knowing my optimals. New bag was a must as my gifted bag was falling apart. I feel ok with 15 yr old woods and 2021 driver. Might look at a new 4hybrid though. Old irons were calloway razr edges and an old Anser 2.

Looking to buy a driver and curious about people’s actual experiences after playing theirs for a while.
I’m getting back into golf and want something forgiving that still gives me good distance. Ideally, I’d keep it for at least five years and grow into it as my swing gets more consistent. Not too worried about shaping shots—mostly want long, reasonably straight, and some forgiveness when I miss the middle.

My better drives have been around 285–300 yards total, but consistency is what I need to improve. My miss is usually right, and I’ve had drives launch really high and seem to balloon and drop.
For anyone playing these, what do you like or dislike? Would you buy yours again, or do you wish you’d gone with something else? Especially curious whether anyone tried several of these and found a clear favorite.

I've been playing golf for about a month, and I've been constantly using 18 birdies to check distances. Every time I see a notification pop up, I can't help but check the message instead of focusing on my next shot. On very sunny days, the sunlight makes it difficult to see the screen.

I feel like my concentration is always lacking. A friend I met on the courses suggested I buy a rangefinder, saying many golfers use them. I searched online and found there are so many options, including Bushnell, Shot Scope, Mileseey, Voice Caddie and so on.

Is it necessary for a beginner like me to buy a rangefinder? Are there any rangefinder recommendations?

After 10+ years, my knock off cart bag is starting to fall apart. I play about 30ish rounds per year and always ride, but would like to walk with a push cart when it’s CPO or 90° cross. Originally I thought I would want the lightest stand bag I could find, but I’m reading that may not be the case. I’ve been looking at Sun Mountain E 3.5/4.5 VLO and the C100/C130. Vessel is also on my radar but moved away on it due to weight concerns. I would like to be in the $300-$500 range, but am flexible. Are there any others I should look into?

Bonus: Push cart recommendations? Bag Boy Nitron Swivel Golf Push Cart is my front runner so far but would love to hear everyone’s thoughts.
