I was stuck because Wildlands and Breakpoint were constantly crashing when I would shoot scanned enemies, or if others would scan with grenades or drones. I was also having insane lag, bugs, and my character kept spinning. I saw so many threads where people were frustrated because the only fix was to turn off teammate abilities (which are super useful and literally one of the only reasons they exist) You also were just shit out of luck if you play online and someone scans.
I tried all the fixes I saw online- verifying files, driver updates, running through DX11 instead of Vulkan, even a full re-install of the game, etc. I've been trying to figure it out for a week and it's been driving me insane. I just figured out the fix for me personally and wanted to share since forums are closed. If you tried the options listed or all other options with no success, I recommend
\**DELETING AND DOING A CLEAN REINSTALL YOUR GRAPHICS DRIVER**\**
You uninstall everything Nvidia in your Devices menu, let the computer reset, then find the driver online for your specific setup, or you can download the Game Ready driver, just make sure to select a custom install and select "Clean Install." The newest game ready driver was updated early October and the game is working perfectly for me now. I wanted to post this in hopes it'll help somebody! :)
