Daily Progress Me and the Sizzling Silence

Hello, beautiful lives reading beside this screen...

Today, I'm writing my first blog. Don't know what and how to present myself to the world...

I've thought about writing a blog for a long time, but haven't had enough confidence and encouragement. But somehow, I have gathered it now, and hopefully, may this skill bloom my inner self and help me connect with this enchanting world...

When we think of silence, what first comes to our mind?

The meaning of this word is different for every person in terms of their behavior, thought process, and implementation in one's life...

For someone, silence can be the noise inside but deafness to the outside world. That no one intending to speak and being confident enough to express...

And so, it changes for me... As a poetess, my thoughts flow for silence like...

It is quite like the ocean,
Flows like a river,
Deep like a valley,
Peaceful like nature,
Its bliss should be wonderful,
Its flow should be cheerful,
Not be hurt by sorrow,
Nor be disturbed by happiness...

🔥Motivational Video Why do we make ourselves suffer over things we can't change?

• Upvotes

Something difficult happens, and even after it’s over, we can keep replaying it in our heads. We can’t always change what happened, but we can choose whether to keep carrying the anger, frustration or pain from it. Learning to separate the event from our response can make difficult situations easier to deal with.

🤯Discussion Are you alone or lonely?

Hello, beautiful lives reading beside this screen…

So, today's discussion is about: Are you lone or alone?

Actually, since I started hitting adolescence, a sense of awareness of people came into my behaviour. I don't know how or when this started changing, but yeah, I started sensing and feeling it deeply in my heart and mind.

We expect from people… We get disappointed with people… Someone's absence makes us feel longing… Someone's presence makes us feel complete…

When we are in deep sorrow, we long for someone's shoulder that can listen to us. We know they may not be able to solve our problems, but still, we think maybe their presence is enough to give us strength.

And if you don't find people like them, then you starve for them; you eventually start to feel lonely…

But with the passing of time, you slowly start realising and sensing the truth of the environment. And that's where you start to expect less and accept more about your surroundings…

Your longing starts to decrease. You start growing your own inner self. Your emotions no longer dissipate but flow in a row. This is the moment you touch the path for self-growth & self-love…

So my point of view and understanding says:

Alone is a physical state of being by yourself, without other people present. It is neutral and can be a choice.

Lonely is an emotional feeling of sadness, isolation, or disconnection. It can occur even when you are surrounded by people.

About happenings like this in our lives, I wrote….

So, according to you, beautiful people, which path is better: being alone or being lonely?

Lastly, I really want to appreciate @u/Omega_Neelay, who, from the other side of this screen, encouraged me as I took this new beginning. It genuinely meant a lot to me…

🔥Motivational Video Confidence isn't something you have, it's something you practice

For a long time I thought confidence was something people were just born with. You either had it or you didn’t.

What changed it for me was realizing how I talked to myself. Most of us would never speak to a friend the way we speak to ourselves before a big meeting, a hard conversation or a first day somewhere new. That inner voice gets repeated so often that we start believing it.

Affirmations sounded cheesy to me at first. But it clicked once I stopped treating them as magic words and started treating them as practice. You’re giving your brain a different script to rehearse. It feels a little awkward at first, then it starts to feel normal, and eventually it becomes the voice you hear when things get hard.

A few that have helped me:

  • I don’t have to feel ready to begin.
  • I trust myself to figure it out.
  • I’ve done hard things before, and I can do this one too.
  • My voice matters, and I’m allowed to take up space.

Full disclosure: I run a small channel called Inner Pep Talk, and I made a set of guided confidence affirmations for different parts of the day. They’re free, with no sign-ups, just a calm voice and a few minutes to reset:

🎧 Main Practice (about 10 min), for when you want a reset: https://youtu.be/mWZ0to_kph4
☀️ Morning (about 5 min), to start the day on your own side: https://youtu.be/wUUt3eo4UIM
🌙 Evening, to wind down and let the day go: https://youtu.be/C0Y4vdiUVt0

If you try one, I’d love to hear how it lands, or what you say to yourself when you need a boost. And if affirmations aren’t your thing, I’m curious what has actually helped your confidence.

Be kind to yourself today. You showed up, and that counts. 💙

🔥Motivating [Story] I noticed I was making myself worse at things by constantly trying to avoid being a beginner

I noticed something embarrassing about the way I learn new things: I'm perfectly willing to be bad at something, as long as I can tell myself I'm not really trying yet.

When I started learning something unfamiliar, I'd spend the first few days experimenting. I'd make obvious mistakes, try different approaches, and occasionally surprise myself by getting something right.

Then, somewhere around day five or six, I'd start taking it seriously. I'd become more careful, compare my results with people who'd been doing it for years, and get annoyed when I couldn't reproduce something I'd managed once by accident.

Weirdly, that's usually when I'd stop improving.

I wasn't putting in less effort. I was putting so much effort into avoiding mistakes that I stopped making the kinds of attempts that could teach me anything new.

I caught myself doing this while practicing a skill one evening. I'd repeated the same section four times because I wanted to get it right before moving on. Each attempt was slightly different, but I kept returning to the version that felt safest. I was basically practicing the part I already knew how to do.

The uncomfortable part was realizing that I preferred looking competent to discovering what I couldn't do yet.

I'd never have admitted that out loud. I genuinely thought I was being thorough.

So I tried a few small things differently:

- When practicing, I deliberately attempted one variation I wasn't confident about, even if I had to backtrack afterward.

- When something went wrong, I wrote down what specifically failed instead of labeling the whole session a waste.

- I stopped repeating an exercise just because I could complete it comfortably. Sometimes I changed one condition to see whether I actually understood what I was doing.

None of this made me instantly better. If anything, my attempts looked messier for a while. But I started noticing problems I'd previously managed to avoid seeing altogether.

The counterintuitive thing I've found is that confidence can sometimes make learning harder. Once I start believing I should be good at something, I become much more selective about what I'm willing to attempt. Being a beginner feels strangely freeing because there's nothing to defend. Getting a little better can make that freedom disappear.

I'm still figuring out how to tell the difference between useful practice and deliberately making things difficult for myself. Not every mistake teaches me something, and repeating the basics still matters. I just don't want my need to feel capable to quietly decide what I'm allowed to try.

Have you ever noticed yourself getting more cautious or less willing to experiment precisely when you started caring about being good at something?
