He's always said how happy he is to see Mary Ann again, and you can truly see it in this moment. The night before, he freaked out and broke down upon seeing Sylvia come on-stage for "Mama." And at the end of this performance the next day (where both Sylvia and Mary were present), he said "You're back" as he looked out at the B stage where Mary was exiting. He looks so pleased, grateful, and soft. It's made me believe that he's meant to be smitten with Mary Ann.

I’ve been a fan of MCR (and ofc Gerard) for just over a decade now, ‘Brother’ is my favourite solo song of his. I’m just wondering- what is actually confirmed about the backstory of that song, and what’re the sources?
I’ve obviously heard the thing regarding the radio at the start- I know it’s not the whole ‘Mikey killed himself’ thing. It’s sad, but a false rumour.
The stuff about how he wrote all/part of it in the hospital whilst Mikey was in a coma/recovering from an OD. Has that been confirmed? What’s the source?

Real or not??? My mother bought it for me because she knows Gerard Way and knows I like My Chemical Romance, it's a Fruit of the Loom shirt and it has your dates on the back but I was skeptical.. i’m not sure if this is the right sub, but i’m looking for guidance on navigating the comics gerard has written.
i’ve seen umbrella academy (and ofc plan on reading them at some point), but i’ve recently become so invested in the lore of this tour. after experiencing the show twice and seeing people’s theories, i want MORE.
i say all this to ask where the heck do i start? i now the tour is a separate story, but do any other comics have any relation to each other? idk thanks in advance!
