Just seems weird for them to already be so annoyed with each other? Working up to a lost son storyline? Since he’s Sonny’s brother, I assume he will have missing children crawling from out the woodwork.

Unlike when ABC ran the 24/7 channel on its website/app, rotating straight through 60-ish straight episodes for 3-ish months, the Prime channel (and I think Roku has the same feed) has tended to jump around within a group of 60-100 episodes for several months at a time. After the first airing that was often straight through the whole group of episodes, they’d play 10-40 straight episodes, and then either start the same ones over or jump around within the current drop to play another 10-40, so sometimes I’d never catch certain episodes in the complete set, even if I checked the scheduled episodes several times a week.

A few days ago, I noticed they’d finally started on a new set of episodes, and based on the episode numbers as labeled in the app, it looks like there’s upwards of 200 in this drop, maybe more, as new-to-the-channel ones are still dropping.
…actually that might be wrong; the episodes airing right now are labeled as early in season 61, which was in fall 2024**, but these are episodes that actually aired in September 2023. So maybe it’s a drop of closer to 100-ish episodes, not 200-ish 🤷🏻‍♀️

**I misremembered when S61 started; it did start in September 2023, so I’m revising my estimate for this drop’s total to around 130-140 episodes, covering from early/mid-March 2023 when Cam was getting ready to leave for Stanford, to late September 2023 when Cody rescued Sasha from the shrink trying to drug her for Gladys (these are just the storylines I remember off the top of my head from a few hours ago when it looped back to the start). About 6.5-ish months, which is a bigger drop than I remember from the past, which had been 4-5 months of episodes at a time for the past year or so.

Just in case the channel’s programmers monitor this sub, I really hope the channel just plays the episodes straight through in order on this drop, instead of jumping around.

Anyone aware of a list of which episodes dropped when on this 24/7 channel?

Seeing them on Monday and Tuesday made me so happy! I wished that they were able to get the piers over Joss!

Also, I think they would be excellent allies for Willow - I would love for Brad to be the one that gets into Quartermaine compound & burn Trina and Kai’s affidavits! Plus, I would really love to see Brad give Jason the business for treating Britt’s poorly and actually use the Wu men to torture Anna for nearly killing Britt. Plus, I want to insert Brad into the Joe/Lucas story and reignite his rivalries with Michael & Portia.

Selena would also be a good ally for Ava/Drew and a rival for Alexis and Tracy!

question/discussion, no spoilers

I’m not really a massive Britt fan, but why do they continue to ruin her character? We had the entire storyline where she found out she had huntingtons, her having to accept the fact that she was going to die, finding out it was all fake, and her having to heal from everything that Cullum and Sidwell put her through. It kind of made sense that she was still the “britch” when she thought she was dying, but now it just doesn’t make sense.

You’d think that since she’s getting a second chance at life essentially, they’d make her character more willing to grow and become a better person? For a short while, it seemed like they were heading that direction. Now, she’s blindly defending Willow even though she’s guilty, she’s going after her co workers who are friendly towards her, and have her losing it at a party she got invited to. Like what’s the end goal?

Sorry if this doesn’t make total sense, I was just writing pretty much anything that came to mind. What are your thoughts on how they’ve been writing Britt lately?

Was just thinking Wyndemere is my favorite set (especially this time of year). Who’s the next occupant? When Valentin’s assets were unfrozen I thought he was supposed to buy it? How long are the PCPD going to keep it under lock & key?? Just let someone move in already!

6. Can’t get into Josslyn and Hudson Romantically. Really none of her romances have hit. To me, there’s more of a family vibe. I’d do Hudson with BLQ
   
7. I liked the scenes with Ric and Lulu. I saw a little chemistry there. Lulu hasn’t been as irritating for me lately and I loved her and willows scenes.

So I’m a pretty new GH watcher. I’ve honestly watched Day’s all my life lol. So far I am enjoying GH, but I just can’t put my finger on why I can’t stand Jocelyn or her mother for that matter. Are they supposed to be likeable? I love all the sets btw for GH. Sadly Days doesn’t have fancy sets anymore due to budget constraints.

After watching that cute scene between Donna and Sonny, I became curious about what her relationship with him will be like when she’s older. Does anyone think that her relationship will be close and as strong as Sonny and Kristina’s? I kind of see Donna being extremely protective of her dad like Kristina is. And I think that it will be really interesting to see how that would develop with Jose’s strong anti-feelings.

I’m also curious to see how Avery will be like if they do SORAS her. It would be interesting to see how her relationship is like with both of her parents. I’m curious to see if Avery will side with one parent more or if she’s going to just be a complete rebel and be a pain in both of their butts.

As a long time viewer of GH, I am very confused about the timing of Valentin and Anna’s relationship. The way I see it is that Anna and Valentin went to WSB school together and had a friendship. They never kissed, and that was the reason for their breakup. He wanted to kiss her and she didn’t want to. They parted ways and shortly after Anna met, fell in love with and got pregnant with Robin. They have married. If Anna’s relationship with Valentin was so intense, his cine she never had flash backs, never talked to anyone ever about him. And the Cassadines had come to town and Anna still never said anything. Then years more kind decades Valentin appeared on the scene and they hated each other for most of his time. Things took a turn when they were working on finding Peter. They had about a year between when they finally slept together and broke up. Then he ruined their relationship by lying and many other reasons. So when did this great life time relationship happen because it just doesn’t make sense.

first of all, she doesn’t have the credentials to be chief of staff which annoys the snot out of me, but the very laughable idea that she is simultaneously the chief of staff of a large bustling hospital at the top of its game and also sitting at home, babysitting an infant while the mother works as a doctor in that hospital is completely and utterly ridiculous.

It is just as bad as Curtis’s neck, brace being backwards just laughably bad. At this point, I am convinced that Frank wants this show canceled.

We know how Brennan was drugged with a pill that Ava got from Drew, right? What if he's not actually dead, but buried alive? I thought of this because Drew has been too confident lately, and I thought it might lead to Brennan actually being alive and come back to completely destroy Drew, along with Ava.

Thoughts? I doubt this is what will happen, because the actor that plays Brennan seemed to be (rightfully) upset after they "killed" him off, so they'd have to recast him.

Characters who used to be very likable are being sacrificed at the altar of GH’s patron saint of Teflon, Willow Tait and it’s driving me up the wall.

(No, these characters aren’t irredeemably ruined. But it’s certainly making them hella unlikable for the time being.)

Here are the characters who have done total 180s to prop up Willow:

Chase

This one is the most obvious and egregious. Chase was once an upstanding gentleman who wanted nothing more than to do right by the people he loved. He was a great son to Gregory, a caring brother to Finn, a loving uncle to Violet and a loving husband to Brook Lynn. And despite the show’s recent attempts to retcon history, Chase had moved on from Willow with no lingering feelings for years after their relationship ended.

The only reason Chase and Willow ever got married was because Willow thought he was dying and felt like she had to marry him out of obligation, even though she had fallen out of love with him and was in love and cheating with Michael at the time. But now Chase is Willow‘s #1 cheerleader who cartoonishly and blindly supports every single thing that Willow does, even though they have both been over one another for years.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth has been suspicious about Willow for several months. So suspicious in fact that she had the health department go to Willow‘s house to inspect it for mold because she could not make sense of the fact that both Drew and Jack ended up locked in after being at Willow‘s house. She also was baffled as to why Willow kept rejecting her offers to get Drew communication devices. But now she is defending Willow saying that Willow could lose her kids because of the allegations in Lulu‘s article when she has been suspicious of Willow the whole time.

Lucas

Lucas has never seen it for Willow. In fact Lucas and Willow’s last interaction with each other was in May 2025 when Willow was still working as a nurse at GH and Willow slapped Lucas after Lucas chewed her out for her obsession with Drew. Yet now even Lucas is defending Willow and throwing his own cousin Lulu under the bus in the process. Make it make sense.

Sidwell

Sidwell is in prison for attempted murder. What more does he have to lose by confessing that he gave Willow the paralytic? He already confessed (offscreen) to poisoning Maxie so why isn’t he confessing to giving Willow the drugs to paralyze Drew? That’s right we know why. Because TPTB will ruin every character to before they hold
Willow accountable.

ADA Turner

Justine has been gunning for Willow ever since she was on trial for shooting Drew. She always believed that Willow was guilty and was pissed that she got away with it. Now Justine has the perfect opportunity to prosecute her for another crime and she just… doesn’t seem to care to? Justine should be chomping at the bit to prosecute Willow and she’s just indifferent. It’s a complete 180 and yet another slap in the face to the viewers.

Britt

Britt was experiencing character development after learning she did not have Huntington’s. She had a great conciliatory conversation with Anna after she tried to kill her that showed us Britt was moving in the direction of forgiveness and honesty.
And now the writers are undoing her progress to have her lie to protect Willow, her cousin who she only started hanging out with a week or two ago and previously had no real relationship with. Given everything Britt has been through recently, she should have learned something about withholding the truth to protect criminals but here she is regressing to prop up Willow.

Nina

Her only storyline for the past couple of years has been being Willow’s enabler. All she ever does is desperately grovel at Willow‘s feet to have a relationship with her and I wish they would do more with her character.

Brook Lynn

Brook Lynn used to be a confident self-assured heiress who lived up to her Quartermaine name. Now she is a groveling mopey pick me for Chase. Brook Lynn makes the slightest mistake and Chase can’t trust her but he never questions Willow’s sketchy behavior and yet Brook Lynn still wants to make her marriage work. I’m tired of BLQ’s furrowed brow, mopey “why does Chase always side with Willow?” face. Brook Lynn has been made to look weak in service of propping up Willow.

Dante

Dante has been annoying since he went on his “I hate Gio” tour after Rocco’s alcohol poisoning incident and even more so with him not believing Sonny about the Pentonville beating. But somehow they managed to make him even more annoying with him asking Lulu to retract her story about Willow paralyzing Drew. Dante, the detective and acting police commissioner can’t detect the mountain of evidence that clearly shows that Willow was responsible for drugging Drew? Instead, he’s only focused on the methods that Lulu used to obtain the information and not the actual information in Lulu’s story.

Michael

Michael still insists that Willow is a good mother who would never hurt their kids. Despite the fact that just a few months ago, she was willing to frame Michael for attempting to murder Drew. Willow was also willing to make Michael look like a drug addict to steal the kids from him. She also continued to defend Drew after he manipulated Wiley to try to turn him against Michael. None of these are actions of a “good mother who would never hurt her kids.” But yet they’ve made Michael totally feckless when it comes to Willow. Why can’t a supposed billionaire CEO who is a Quartermaine, Corinthos AND a Spencer defeat a lowly jr. congresswoman? All he’s done is move her into the gatehouse which has done nothing to knock her off her high horse. And Michael has been pushed to the sidelines as a character for several months.

Honorable mention: Daisy
Ok so this one is not so serious but it also is because Sasha left town with Daisy because Willow was messing with her (a crime that Willow will probably never answer for) and Michael and Sasha were worried about Daisy’s safety. Now Michael looks like a deadbeat dad because why are Daisy and Sasha still out of town after all this time? (I know it’s because Sofia Mattison left the show and she’s joining DOOL so she won’t be back but the character has to be recast because Michael should be an active father to his daughter). Willow being the reason that Michael doesn’t get to raise his daughter just doesn’t sit right with me.

And that concludes my list.

The writers are twisting themselves in knots and jumping through Texas-sized hoops to protect Willow and it’s just not good TV. When you have to ruin every character’s reputation to prop up one character who keeps doing bad things, you’re making the a large chunk of the cast unlikable.

We get it. TPTB want Willow to be a central character on the show but ruining other characters to allow her to get away with everything is making the show insufferable. When a large chunk of the cast is unlikable, there is no one to root for and therefore people wanna tune out.

Let me know if I missed any characters they’ve ruined to prop up Willow.

Have the writers forgotten that we were introduced to Hudson TWO MONTHS AGO as a terrifying mob-implied maniac who was so scary that a woman would run away to make sure he never got near their baby and then he beat the snot out of Ethan in a particularly sadistic scene?

They're treating him like any new intriguing mysterious stranger character. It's like they expect us to have instantaneous amnesia.

Characters who needs them

Willow- I like her congresswoman clothes. They are very professional looking.

Drew- I like that he historically always loses, and his facials are entertaining.

Curtis- When he’s CEO he was cool, now not so much, but at least he loves his kids.

Joss- I love her interactions with Chief Baines because he reminds her who she’s working for and humbles her.

Chase- Despite his misguided loyalty, he’s always loyal to a fault.

Trina- I love when she’s her own woman, she’s strong, but now she’s bleh but at least she has a nice singing voice.

Sonny- He loves his family.

Characters who are getting there

Lulu- When she’s free from her kids and given a real storyline, I love that her journaling skills gets the ball moving.

Dante- Except when it comes to Rocco, at least he’s dutiful as a cop and never falters.

BLQ- She loves her family even though her husband does not deserve it.

Rocco- He’s creating boundaries for himself even though he says and acts as a butt.

Scout- She’s finding her own way to find freedom, even if it’s only for puppy love.

Danny- He cares about his friends and family even if he does it in the wrong way.

Gio- He’s great when he’s away from family.

Emma- She’s protective and has passion for what she believes in.

Hysterically they have managed to fix Curtis’ unnecessary neck brace so it is no longer inside out.

But the supportive chin piece is flipped the wrong so must be digging into the actors throat.

Although it’s not done up very securely so maybe that helps.

Adoptees and orphans can find out their biological parentage with just a cheek swab, even if the bio parents are deceased. Cold cases 50 years old are being solved through identifying 5th and 6th cousins. Yet in this universe, let’s pretend it’s 1990. Same with security cameras. They’re all broken or if they tape, can’t be uploaded to a secure database.

The writers are ignoring the bio mom’s entire side of the family by not doing this. Why?

As for mystery Dad, he must be related to somebody previously arrested in Port Charles. Just a hunch, but the obvious suspect is Jerry Jax.

So is JJE now just a front for the WSB and if so what was used to make Jax turn in over to them?
