I’m looking to buy my first airplane from an out-of-state seller and bring it to Texas.
Has anyone here gone through this process? Did you pay sales tax in the state where you purchased the airplane, or did Texas charge you after bringing it into the state?
I’m especially interested in hearing from anyone who bought from a dealer, a private seller or an LLC.
Just trying to understand how this works in real life. Thanks!
