​I wore my watch to bed, as I have done for the last 3 years, and woke up with a burn on my arm. The watch was fully charged when I went to bed, completely dead when I woke up, and now it won't turn on—not that I want it to. It sucks, as I trusted the thing not to hurt me (lol). Is there any way I can get it replaced, since it overheating is not my fault?

I've never had any problems using Google Pay on my Samsung Watch until recently. Has anyone else had this issue? I have the Galaxy Watch 8 running One UI 9.0 (not sure if it is still beta).

This was a section of walking up a hill today. I regularly reach heart rates of 180+ bpm just by walking or playing badminton. Jogging 200-300 meters (half a lap) is about my limit before I have to start walking again.

Hello! I just wanted some quick opinions on these three modelsa and which I should convince my dad to get.

My dad decided to buy me a samsung watch so I can better track my health and I'm super excited

The thing here is that he is a stuance believer of "more money = better" and is super hesistant of buying me a second-handed watch or anything cheaper than $200.

He denied my request for a humble Fit 3 watch, the Watch 6, and a second-handed watch 7.

He REALLY wants me to have the Watch 8, but I feel like it's too expensive and I don't wanna waste his money.

Main questions:

Is the Watch 8 significantly better than the 7? And is the Watch 7 significantly better than the 6?

Is the Watch 8 worth it for it's price right now?

Anyone else run recently into issues with the battery?

In the past 100% was lasting me basically 2 full days, but for the last week I charged it to 100% and it barely made to next day and today eve got less than 24h on full charge, and health monitoring off.

Didn't change anything else in settings.

Finally bought 8 classic LTE after thinking so many days during the sale. From amazfit pop series which comes at 4-5k INR and now this feels a massive massive upgrade,just the battery is let down and I'm trying to fix schedule to charge during morning shower as workout . Also didn't knew their charging will have type c so now I'm using my friend's pixel brick for now ,I'm a one plus user so I'm thinking best solution to charge it 😅maybe I should buy type a to type c connector? Looking for recommendations for slim watch bands and bezel/cases for ladies. I have the titanium 40mm galaxy watch 8. I hate the titanium casing, but it came free with my phone.

My worry is that getting a case is just going to make it look huge when I'm trying to go for a more luxury look (think Tissot). I currently have some random case and strap I ordered on shein but it looks tacky af and pretty big. Bonus if it had tempered glass.. I'm clumsy.

This has likely been asked before, but is there any way to override the start button when exercising? It used to do 3-2-1 then auto start, but some genius decided now you have to manually press play. I can't say how many workouts I've done only to be greeted at the end by the play button patiently waiting for my press. Very annoying!

It is terrible UX to replace an automatic step with a manual one.

I bought my samsung galaxy watch 8 in January. Suddenly it stopped working a couple weeks ago. I take it to the samsung store and they open it up and it has water damage and corrosion. The watch has never been submerged in water. I never shower with it. But it somehow got wet and now the warranty is voided.

I get it, the watch isn't waterproof. Its water resistant. But for a watch to be water resistant enough for them to have a feature to measure swim, why can't it handle a little splash from rain. How do i know that the water resistant seal wasn't damaged upon purchase?

Samsung won't honor the warranty. They said they can give me $200 off a new one but I honestly don't want to give them another penny. This was my 3rd samsung watch and I think I'm just done.

Alright so, right now I have my Galaxy Watch 7, and yeah it works, it does what it says, but I have some, REALLY big annoyances, and because of that I think I'm down for a new watch

1: Battery life, wondering if I can fit a sleep session before a charge is really annoying, battery life isn't predictable as of course, my life isn't a set pattern, and I can get like a day of usage, and I want more

2: Lag, yep, Samsung loves to do it, every new update is a new bug or stutter added to the list, and another quirk or annoyance that REALLY has NO reason to be there

And so, I'm looking for something new, my budget is around 100 bucks max, can stretch, here's some watches I have considered, prices, pros and cons and maybe y'all can name some other

Fitbit Charge 6 €88

Pros, Google Wallet, a pretty big pro for me, and it's the only watch on the list that supports it without a headache, but because of the cons, I guess ill just have to let that go

Cons, postage stamp screen, it's SUPER small, barely shows any data, and text scrolls more often than not, also not the best battery life and for the price you pay, it's clearly Google Tax

Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro €75

Pros, super small bezels, pretty good watch face support and a lot of people have them, also AFAIK you can install SOME custom apps and watch faces and elite battery life

Cons, no physical buttons, yeah that screen is cool and all, but a physical button can be a lifesaver, and it doesn't have that

Amazfit Bip Max €100

Pros, big screen, 2 physical buttons, standard 22mm lugs, no proprietary nonsense and inbuilt storage for anything your heart desired (probably runs Doom) and good battery life, just like Xiaomi, and I love the charger, since I can just use any USB c cable

Cons, maybe a little too big, but it's probably fine since I have a big wrist, the bezels are huge, although I probably won't have many white watch faces, they are still very big, and most watch faces can't edit their complications

So currently I have the galaxy watch5 pro. And even though it's a 4y/o device it still gives a 5d+ battery life.

And recently I've been thinking of getting a newer model for extra health tracking features and whatnot. But I'm just not sold on the base models because of the reported short battery life. And variance between their answers are also pretty high. Can anyone with a galaxy watch 9 let me know if it's improved over time.

After some time recovering from a leg injury, I’m finally getting back into running. I’m taking it slowly and paying attention to how my body feels, but it’s great to be running continuously again.

I’ve been using the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 to track my workouts, and so far, it’s been a really pleasant surprise.

I like how easy it is to track a run and then go through the details in Samsung Health afterward. Everything feels smooth, and I’m enjoying the overall experience so far.

I also got caught in a bit of drizzle during my last run, which gave me the perfect opportunity to take this picture.

I’m still getting back into my routine, so I’ll keep testing it as I go. But so far, I’m really happy with it!

Anyone else here using their Galaxy Watch for running?

What are your thoughts on this look?

I've got a Samsung Ultra, and have always run with it, and never had any issues.

Lately, the watch will stop recording mid run, and obviously not record my whole run.

It doesn't matter I run with my phone, or with only the Watch, it will still randomly stop.

I only notice if either I glance at the watch to check my progress and notice that it's no longer recording, or I get a notification saying that it's now recording an Auto Run, as it's picked up that I've been running for 3 minutes, outside of an activity.
