I know this has been posted, but I want to express my grievances for such an expensive device. I have the 11".
The expensive keyboard feels like 1/3 its price tag (thank god it's included in some deals), flexes upon force, and has really cheap key feedback mechanism. It's like pressing on hardened marshmallow. On top of that, the angle isn't adjustable like the one on the S9. Typing experience is so horrible that it's better to have the onscreen keyboard at times. The only good reason to keep it is that there aren't a good selection of cases/covers to replace it. I wish MOFT made stuff for Samsung.
The spen is no longer secured at the rear inside the cover. This is my biggest issue with it. I don't even care about the lack of bluetooth.
Old tech fingerprint scanner, no haptics.
Not snapdragon, tho this doesn't matter for a lot of people.
Decent tablet sure, but not a good deal. A gadget at this price point should have a seamless experience.
Hello I got an S10 Lite some time ago and whenever I play CODM or other games some crackling sounds appear. I tried turning down the volume but the sound persisted. I also tried removing the sim/memory card slot for a few minutes but it didn't help.
Could anyone explain as to why this happens and any solutions for it? Thanks
Every so often, I accidentally turn a WhatsApp notification into a floating chat window that prevents me from using my tablet properly because it covers the things I need to see or interact with.
All I can do is move it around; sometimes it becomes an (also annoying) WhatsApp floating logo blocking part of the screen. I have to restart the tablet to get rid of it.
How can I disable this nightmarish "feature"? I don't want to have any floating windows hovering over what I'm trying to do.
Should I run s10 plus screen naked or use a screen protector or any film? Is it advisable to use it naked cuz official AR screen looks good but I'm afraid that it might invite scratches in future cuz I use spigen folio case and the cover might attract grains and dust that can rub causing microscratches or apply a 3rd party film like BERSEM cuz afaik there are no official samsung screen protector for s10 plus rather it's for s10 fe plus
I’m looking to get a tablet mainly for watching videos, and occasionally annotating PDFs. Planning to use it for around 4 years at least.
I’m torn between these options:
iPad A16 ($738 including Pencil)
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE ($600)
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite ($407)
Xiaomi Pad 8 ($708 including Pen)
Prices in singapore dollars
I use iPhone and Mac but apple ecosystem isn’t that important for me because I won’t be transferring files that often.
After trying these out in the shops, I like the Android screens better… but I know iPads will last a long time. Idk about Android tablets as I’ve never owned one before. People who’ve used Android tablets, care to chip in?
All these are within my budget, including the Apple Pencil. Which one I should get? Any other advice?

On the 2 of October, I did the official September security patch ( Build X816BXXS6EZI2) on my Samsung Tab S9+. Right after the reboot, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth switches just stayed stuck and greyed out whenever I tried to turn them on. Everything was working completely fine right before the update.
I searched online for solutions and tried resetting the network settings and doing a full factory reset myself, but nothing worked. So I contacted Samsung Switzerland support via Whattsapp.
The support agent asked to take remote control of my tablet. Together with Samsung support, we tested Safe Mode and did a second full factory reset while I filmed the tablet screen with my phone. During the initial setup after the reset, we couldn't even activate Wi-Fi and had to skip the step just to get past the configuration screen.
After an hour and a half of testing, the agent told me it couldn't be fixed remotely and instructed me to send the tablet to their authorized repair center (Recommerce AG). For context, I bought the tablet brand new on the official Samsung online store in August 2023, and it is in flawless physical condition (no drops, no shocks, no water damage).
A few days later, the repair center sent me their quote: they recognized the issue, diagnosed a dead motherboard, and asked for 389.00 CHF (~$450 USD) to replace it because the warranty is expired. If I refuse the quote, they charge 39.00 CHF just to send my broken tablet back, or I can leave it to them to be destroyed...
As soon as I received the quote, I contacted Samsung support on WhatsApp again and ended up chatting with the exact same agent. I refused the quote and asked them to escalate my case to their complaints team. The agent assured me they had just escalated the file for an adapted solution, telling me to be patient for a few days. When I followed up a few days later, they told me the dispute was being processed and promised an email update within 48 to 72 hours.
More than a week went by after that initial complaint with absolute radio silence from the Complaints Team, so I decided to call them directly. The very first thing the representative told me on the phone was that I was supposed to send a direct e-mail to their complaints department something the WhatsApp support agent had conveniently never mentioned. So, I drafted and sent a formal e-mail with all the details, only to be left waiting for another three full days
On Friday morning, I called them again to check on the status, and they simply told me that I just had to wait for them to "take a decision." A few hours later, the Complaints Team finally sent their verdict by e-mail:
Mail in French if you want to translate
They claim the failure "cannot be clearly attributed to the software update," so the 389 CHF bill stays.
They literally wrote that my warranty "expired in 2023" even though I bought the tablet in August 2023. In Switzerland, the mandatory legal warranty is 2 years (so it was covered until August 2025), which proves they didn't even bother checking my file properly.
To thank me for my "loyalty", they offered me a 20% discount code to buy a new product on their online store.
I already own a Galaxy S23 Ultra, this Tab S9+, and a Samsung TV that also stopped working after just 3 years. Why would I spend more money on their store with a 20% coupon when their official updates brick working hardware and they refuse to take any responsibility?
Has anyone else experienced this with the recent One UI updates or managed to get Samsung to cover a motherboard fried by an update out of warranty?
Been a few days since I bought the S9 FE+ and everytime i accidentally press the favorites for the pen it keeps choosing the pen that only creates straight lines and I cannot figure out how to delete the pen so i have one pen to use which is the normal one please help.
