Pretty obscure stuff

Set my new personal best in Galaxian! 69,520, played on a Galaga / Galaxian Pocket Player Pro.

Would like to hit 100k before 2027, and when I start getting close I’m gonna start recording my gameplay. I’ve got a recording setup now and an aux speaker for the game.

Working on a tapestry of older characters, knocked this guy out yesterday.

Makes sense who it falls for as well lol

slowly but surely getting better.

All have Galaxian and Galaga.

Pocket Player Pro
Micro Player Pro
Pixel Pocket Pro

Arcade Galaga and NES Galaga, but miniature!

Warblade - By Edgar Vigdal is sort of Deluxe super Galaga for PC.

When you download Warblade, use something like VirusTotal to scan it for viruses, so that you get a clean copy. I've never found an infected version, but you never know.

Find the shortcut (or make a shortcut) to launch the game executable

MODIFY the shortcut "Compatibility" tab to use windows 7 compatibility mode, RUN IN 640/480, and DISABLE full screen optimizations.

Here’s my best, about 14 years ago.

This isn’t the highest score I had gotten, but is it a decent score?

Enjoying this Galaga / Galaxian Pixel Pocket Pro a lot, although I still prefer the small arcade cabinet for its mini joystick. This thing is pretty much flawless though for being as small as it is.

My pb

I believe I've earned a break.

I just started learning the patterns, so the scores aren’t anything to write home about. I’ve always wanted to get a leaderboard sweep, so I took the opportunity and scored 20,000 points on five out of seven plays.

Not my highest ever, I have gotten 140k on the NES galaga, but that was years ago when I had it on my 3DS.

Been a while but I’m getting back into Galaga and Galaxian both. Just hit an 89k in Galaga, on my Micro Arcade Pro. Really taking me a while to get used to the miniature joystick lol

EDIT:

The very next game I got 103k lol I should have waited to post this.

been practicing my weaving, only took me one dollar if you dont count the drinks hahah

Note: This is this the NES version of Galaga running on Namco Museum Volume 2 for Nintendo Switch.
